It's been obvious for a while she was independent. After the news she was no longer with rca there was no announcement she was signed to a label and yet she was in the studio. An announcement of new label comes before studio because paper work has to be signed before they are gonna pay for studio time. This happened when she first signed with rca ..you heard the announcement and even a video of her singing and THEN you started seeing her in studio. My guess this was a MUTUAL separation because nobody was happy with the performance of the music on BOTH sides. And getting signed to a new label in this financial climate is hard. So independent seems like the path for her

I wouldn't worry about a big gig….focus on the music …finding her lane …who she is as an artist. Engaging with her fans and audience. Being authentic etc ….skipping the important parts

People are associating manager with success. Doja and coco where who they are because of who they are lol..manager is there to HELP. If you notice both doja and coco are HUSTLERS ….very SELF motivated. Especially Doja that girl had a strong vision and knew exactly what she wanted. Both artist are engaging and are automatically themselves not afraid of their flaws. Sometimes y'all just don't want to be honest

Y'all need to take all this with a grain of salt …ain't noting changed with how Normani would constantly hype something is coming. She was saying the same thing with this current manager last year and before the album came out. They are just literally making it up as they go

This is the kind of stuff she should have been doing around motivation era YEARS ago. Doing these small performances at colleges etc.

If she's recording music then everything would be signed and it would be a done deal. Because the label would be paying for studio time. When she signed to a label in the first place she announced it etc. So the fact that she's recording music means that she is independent and it's coming out of her pocket.

Under wraps for what? lol…this isn't like Beyoncé going to a new label lol. Every artist that has left or changed labels..every time they sign with someone new it's immediately announced or discovered

I still don't understand why not put on a headset …people still can tell she's lip syncing. And about new music…. it might be sooner cause she's DEFINITELY independent …it might not get a big budget since it's gonna be out her pocket. Ally Brook is able to drop songs and so is Lauren.

Well it's good she's out there …but PLEASE turn on the mic. This is a perfect place for her to do it with low stakes…practice singing live and getting comfortable

What's next?? I don't know because between yet another canceled event she doesn't communicate anything with her fans

What exactly was done to hold her back?…signed to a label…worked with big producers…put out multiple songs with big budgets…motivation had a huge video and an mtv performance. Most artist don't get half of that until they produce a huge hit. Nobody was sabotaging her.. the label was just waiting and looking for a hit and when it didn't come they kept sending her into the studio. With motivation they put out a huge video and a huge performance and usually labels wait to see if the song picks up before they put more money into it. Motivation never took off on radio or streaming or sales. Then it was the cardi b song …they were hesitant because of the last push so the investment wasn't as much …they put out that song …yet again it didn't take off after that ….ANY artist isn't gonna be backed after multiple attempts. Look what's happening to Lizzo ..even when she's had multiple HUGE eras …look at this era.. she put out a few songs and NONE took off so now they aren't investing as much. This isnt a Normani thing…it's a record industry thing especially in this current market. Look what lizzo is doing …the record label ain't promoting so she is doing it HERSELF …pushing and promoting her own work. Everyone in this industry is trying to survive ain't nobody wasting time trying to sabotage anyone…it's business if your not generating you are ignored

Why is it always someone else's fault …or someone against her …holding her back…sabotaging her etc etc. It's been the same narratives. She had a whole interview on YouTube and we didn't learn anything new about her or her music. The same stuff and the same narratives. Kehlani Isn't threaten …Normani last album and music was so long ago…she hasn't toured really

If they were hits the label would have dropped her album…that's what the label kept waiting for and when it didn't happen the album got pushed and delayed and she went back into the studio

Why are we back ok camila??? Regardless of any of this she was nominated for a Grammy and it wasn't her first nomination. And she's won 2 Latin Grammys. Most artist would love to even be nominated. now back to Normani lol Candy paint did nothing …I know you guys liked it but it wasn't a strong song …they even tried to make it go viral…..wild side even with cardi and music video Didnt go anywhere. .her strongest songs were love lies and dancing but those songs were lead by other artist she just came onto the song. Im just saying a true hit will find its way
