I mean, for Phoenix to accept to make a sequel there has to be some sort of guarantees of quality for it, like the script must be really good, I really don't see him accepting and potentially ruining the role who made him win the Oscar if there wasn't a solid-valid idea behind it, fingers crossed.

I’ve read somewhere he’s yet to close a deal for a sequel..

Some would call this supercharged CLEAN artistry

On second thought, I remember the intense fear surrounding Joker. The internet made everyone feel like their screening was about to get shot up. The increased security presence at theatres across the cuntry during OW made me feel very…uneasy.

Hold My ClownNose officially a top 50 hit

ngl girlies, I'm kinda terrified about this. Don't know what to expect or think. Hopefully it won't be a mess because her acting career would be instantly over.

It's gonna be a long couple of years for this fight.

Wonder if they’ll be using original songs or covers for the musical element

Wonder whats gonna happen with Cabaret though? Back to back musicals? Abort mission?

If they call back Hildur Guonadottir for the sequel, it's gonna be a rare case of all-female composer ensemble.

Of course she'll be back. She won an Oscar for it.

She can keep it tbh, not really here for a tired musical remake again

They could be trying to bombard the year with multiple musicals and re-activate that locked up category, Best Original Musical.

She’s making some of the most interesting choices in Hollywood right now and she’s flexing with this one. HoG was risky and she still bagged herself acclaim and a $160m movie, and yes I’m fully expecting something divisive but I’m not worried at all. We overuse the word but it’s going to be a truly iconic moment for her with a role that every major actress would love to sink their teeth into. Our girl really won.
