Eli is actually the one that decided to do the whole corny enigma anime cosplay idea last minute. Gaga had a different show planned out aesthetically. It explains why the show feels impersonal, unimaginative and uninspired since it's not solely derived from Gaga's creative output. I'm sorry but Eli's 2018 photoshoot is overrated. It's nothing but Gaga doing random poses in front of a cheap camera and Eli using first remedial photo editing skills to give random filters and alter her body to look disfigured which ended up looking too cartoony.

It all depends on the box office of Top Gun. I'm thinking it will flop like Fantastic Beats cause nowadays only superhero movies are marketable but if it's a success people wil obviously want to listen to it after the movie and Top Gun: Maverick is a 152M budget film, so even it it flops it will attract A LOT of people. It won't be a Be Alive kind of mess where the song debuts with ridiculous streaming cause no one watched that movie

There’s no way Top Gun is flopping.  It’s had two years of buzz as an anticipated blockbuster.

She should release on Friday.

Two years of buzz, cancellations and a budget of 152M not including promo is very dangerous in a post-pandemic era if you're not something from Marvel or with superheroes. It may do like $300-350M total when all it's said and done but that still would 100% not cover it. That's why I said even it it's a flop (doing 300M worldwide when all it's said done would be considered as an underperformance considering A Quiet Place II did that during a year with more restrictions), the song, if it's good, will reach a big audience and therefore won't be a flop of the proportions of Be Alive.

 

But then again we have Spirit, which flopped massively, but Hold My Hand is the theme song and probably the only new song that will play in the movie so I'm expecting soccer moms who die for movies like American Sniper quickly go to Spotify / Youtube / Apple Music and replay the song.

i seriously dont know why her team love to release only when it's crowded and full of competitions   Stupid Love. Love 4 Sale.... and now HMH... these could have peaked higher if they're released in a different week.. the entire Q1 was empty af   

Paparazzi is the best song on TF and Just Dance is one of Gaga's worst songs and y'all claim just because it was a hit, but it could've been a promo single for Kat DeLuna and no one would have batted an eye. Same with LoveGame. Poker Face and Paparazzi are the superior songs from TF.
