It's a huge deal, it makes a song unlistenable. Well, to be honest, there are 2 types of dated songs. The ones that sound like they just came out from eg. 2010 but you still bop to them, and the ones that sound like they came out in 2010 but you almost cringe listening to them.

To some extent yes but not entirely. For example, there is something about Alejandro and Heavy Metal Lover that makes these songs age like fine wine. They will forever sound amazing. The Cure on the other hand....it's almost impossible to really enjoy it in 2022.
