To be fair a lot of her hits sound dated or nostalgic. Which is why for future eras she should work on expanding her hits/single catalog.

I would argue Just Dance (could still smash today), Poker Face (this sound is coming back in modern house music), and Applause (doesn’t sound like stereotypical 2013 EDM music or any time period for that matter) belong in the not dated category. Otherwise I agree

Just because a song wouldn’t smash today doesn’t mean it is dated. Trends are always changing, as is the public’s taste.

She’s probably too old for the role, but I think it could still work. I’d love a meaty supporting role for her next in something like Dune, or Dune adjacent.
