The only era where there were many markets not willing to touch Gaga was Joanne. Any other era she was fine. Shallow, Rain On Me or even Stupid Love, Bloody Mary, now DWAS. She's doing just fine.

It's very likely it'll be very sonically different, and the lead deserves to have all the space it can get to shine. This is her pop comeback afterall

Christmas songs are a bigger threat than DWAS. Three Christmas songs were already top 10 by the end of November last year
