Kind of loved the opening ceremony tbh  glitzy, euro trashy, kind of effortless & weird. Gaga, Celine, athletes on barges  while 80s synths play in the background, a random threesome, a headless death metal Marie Antoinette etc.

I remember a rumour during the 2022 Oscars that she was going to star in a project or something in the style of cabaret.

I think that had to do with her wearing a suit + presenting BP with Liza. There were also rumors at the time that Bradley wanted to do a Cabaret remake with Gaga. I remember a good amount of people (me included) in this base thought that would be movie #3 when she came out. 

I swear I remember some Broadway producer actually saying that Gaga was involved in a revival of Cabaret on Broadway but then we ended up not hearing anything about it, maybe she got offered JFAD shortly after and decided to focus on that instead. I remember it was rumoured that Bradley wanted to take the London revival of Cabaret to Broadway. The latest West End version is pretty different conceptually to the original, it's in the round in the theatre for starters which is pretty unique for Broadway/West End.

anyways no announcement after Olympics hype so she did this purely because they asked her. So pointless in the grand scheme of things.  Whatever. 

I wouldnt be surprised after jfad she starts doing broadway especially if she does end up winning  and Oscar for acting.  
 

I also would not mind having Gaga do a burlesque type album or Vegas residency either.
