Hard disagree. I've had irl friends who are casual fans of her mention how annoying her constant ads are. She routinely gets less engagement on social media than she did before, even her selfies hyping up new music do meh numbers. I think she can get it back though.

It's just a week after Billie's release, and a week before Beyoncé's. March 22nd isn't a great date imo 

It's doable, but not great.

She stopped posting studio pictures, as if she's done with the record. I'm still cautiously optimistic. 

the fact that if the lead comes this week there's still a chance for the album to be released early april otherwise we're talking mid may at the earliest

do we think that joker 2 is gonna be the first project to break her ‘debut curse’ and overwrite the ASIB receipts? So far, nothing has topped TFM (pop debut) nor C2C (jazz debut)

I personally think her performance will be even better and more iconic. It's almost guaranteed to outdo ASIB at the BO as well, so if I had to bet, I would say yes. 

Also, if you look back at the Stupid Love announcement, she started posting selfies in the weeks before the release. She always does it like that. 

 

Of course, it could mean nothing, but it's quite clear that she's more active because something is coming. Almost all of her recent posts are about LG7 and new music.

Aquaman 2 bombed yet still pulled in $434 million at the BO ($2 million less than ASIB) so I think it'll at least pass ASIB in the box office department. And if we're counting movies that she's been involved with, TG:M already has (). In terms of the soundtrack, I'm not holding my breath. It sounds like the music is just going to be a few covers relegated to musical numbers where Harley is disassociating which makes it a lot less likely that something will catch on. But anyone in early 2018 would've said the same thing about ASIB. So we'll see, but I'm not expecting it.

Gaga announcing and releasing in the same week doesn't seem her style. I know she did it with Stupid Love but it had already leaked by then. Also why is she restricted to the 1st? If we're using Billie as source, the oscars aren't until the 10th, so she could also announce for the 8th March.

It will be so different from the first one that it’s really hard to predict. If it’s a full-blown musical, I’m hoping for a Wonka at least, so around $600 million.

 

With that huge budget, it needs to earn at least $700 million to be profitable, though.

 

If it's more like ASIB (with limited musical numbers), it could go really well if it's a great movie.
