Eh, without the work she put into promoting it, it very well may have ended up with Perfect Illusion numbers (~200M streams after 7 years) instead of the 745M streams it has today. It's not her best ballad for sure and as a fan I can easily think of a number of other songs I feel deserved that level of promo more based on the quality of the music, but the song clearly ended up doing well in the long run so I think it was worth it in the end.

This base is crazy to watch with her giving us next to nothing. The meltdowns seem to be worse this time around with small morsels, rather than a complete blackout early 2013 esque. 

 

It makes sense I suppose: if she says nothing (2013) we expect nothing. If she posts random selfies, Australian sponsorships, and promises to release CHIRO ball (2023), there are more people holding her accountable and checking her for *gasp* not delivering what she's alluded to. 

 

Maybe one day she will be taken care of by a serious manager with a full team behind them. But I'm thinking she may never leave her "live laugh love, hehe my BFF is my manager" stage.

Weird that she may have trust issues but her manager is able to convince her to make Nurtec, Cotton On, and numerous other brand deal ads.

 

You'd think if PTSD were in place, she'd be wary with these sponsorships and would advocate towards her roots (** MUSIC **)

Truthfully she's not that problematic, but she is tone-deaf and doesn't seem to be involved in much of anything relevant to her music fans. 

 

I have several cotton on items in my closet but it's not really a brand I'd associate with Lady Gaga so it's just a strange endeavor all together
