It helped her out, but C2C and AHS were the real game changers of her career. 2014-2015 laid the groundwork for ASIB perfectly. 

lbr ASIB would’ve still thrived w/o MR, releasing Joanne was enough, there was no need to shove the single, nonstop, 24/7, down our throats for months

But now we've said it. Something as euphoric as TEOG doesn't deserve to be hagified every time, songs like that are made to be performed live by a band. Lord knows she has enough ballads for the piano segments
