i dont like the song but i appreciate what she tried to do. She did something totally new for her. The noise and screaming is like the 'rage' of a love lost etc. Even if it didnt pay off eventually its better to take risks and add to your legacy. They are not going to bump JFAD a year unless things escalate to COVID level disruption when shareholders are expecting its release and Batman has already got October 2025 pinned down; they also can’t move Dune without agreement from Legendary Entertainment and in the same Variety article they claim WB haven’t started any discussions and that they are moving forward with release dates as planned despite jitters around the length of the strikes. 

Even if they all do move there is nothing to suggest WB are evening considering touching Joker or other locked in movies otherwise that would have been reported on too for maximum clicks.

 

We’ll just have to wait and see how it all shakes out in the next few months.

when she get a smash lead, its a smash era. so Shallow fit into that too... at least with the other eras they got two singles out cause it had to rely on single #2... whereas ASIB had 1.5 and 3 if you lived in france, slovakia, hungary etc

Yet the non-single ARUTW was bigger than her second singles for Joanne and Chromatica

in the streaming era if you get an organic smash first and do another extremely good quality song, as long as its on TTH with the other song (and in this case played in full in a film) people will discover it and people tell their fiends, add it to playlist etc whether it is a single or sent to radio or not.

 

that's why ASIB helped her streams so much, people loved hte music so much they wanted more Gaga e.g. MR started doing 400-500k daily in winter 2018

They admit the production of Chromatica was mostly BP, and the tracks where BP wasn't involved so much (i.e., Replay) are way better than the rest. And let's be honest, when Gaga is involved it's mostly for the better.

She could definitely tour 2024 or 2025 if she wanted. The gaps between Monster Ball, Born This Way Ball, and ArtRave were fairly short.

 

Granted, her body is different now but it's doable if she's also planning to do shorter tours moving forward. I personally haven't ruled out a new era and tour before Joker just yet.

Exactly what I meant earlier, I think so as well, plus I think they're gonna try to maintain the release dates of the projects that on the paper are the more profitable box office wise, with  this strike creating economic damages + WB having already economic issues, they definitely gonna give priority to the movies more profitable.
