As expected, she'll be back to Vegas later this year. I wonder if she'll debut the new pop show or finish the few dates left in her contract with Jazz & Piano shows first and then announce the new residency.

YES. Some of her pre-Fame songs have this vibe -- very theatrical pop/classic piano rock fusion (not quite either one but the fine line in between). Give us a glam rock aesthetic to go along with it and call it a day.

The idea that she is planning on recording heavily this summer would make sense with the tea we have knowing her team is in talks with Jeff Bhasker to arrange studio time and that she has Vegas commitments in fall/winter so would want to get as much work in before then. 
 

What my fantasist mind is daydreaming about is that we know she wanted to tie Enigma (song) in with the launch of her original pop show in 2018; do you think she could go even further this time and debut the whole album around the time of the Vegas shows, with imagery linking the two etc 

 

Obviously not, but that idea of a new song being performed could possibly be floated if A) she’s in the recording stages and is hyped about new music and B) if that very idea already nearly happened before.

 

At the very least it will be fun to see what direction she goes with the rebrand.

Her team is not in talks with Jeff Bhasker. It’s literally someone from this base that came up with this rumor.  I know we’re all desperate for new music, but she’s not releasing anything before Joker. It’s too risky for her to do that. Unless she posts a studio pic there’s no proof whatsoever she even gave any thought to LG7.

Gaga and Jeff Bhasker would be heavenly.

Droplet #2 (collab) - November 2023 (experimental, so not for the charts)

Droplet #3 - February 2024 (solo experimental, top 40, no big on radio but has decent/stable streaming numbers)

Droplet #4 (collab) - May 2024 (would be smash hit for the summer, leading into the fall for Joker)

I sadly don't think we'll be getting LG7 before the Joker. However it's obviously possible. Yes, Gaga does typically take a while between albums. But Taylor Swift has proven that you can make AOTY in just 3 months. I always find a project to be more interesting when the artist is like "I spent 2 weeks in the Bahamas and wrote a whole album" vs "I took 4 years to really figure out the sound I wanted". I just feel like Gaga isn't as inspired as she used to be & she needs to somehow regenerate that creativity.
