An underperforming era is not going to derail the hype of a movie largely made up of DC fanboys and nerd enthusiasts who don't regularly check for Gaga's music. She was also made a media villain because she had a massive peak that overexposed her. She's still a big artist but not exactly to the level where people are looking to single her out.
