When I made that remark I was upset because it’s when not only me but a lot other people realized she’s not putting out new music any time soon. Believe me, I’d love if these rumors were true and LG7 came out this year, but it’s simply not realistic and there’s nothing to back them up.

Like I said, unless we get something concrete like a picture of herself in the studio stating she’s working on a new record like she did with all her past albums, there’s no reason to believe any of these rumors. The rumored sessions, if anything, are most likely for J:FAD soundtrack

How is it too risky to release an album before JFAD?  It is actually good for her because she will have all the attention of media, publications, and critics that will help her campaign during the awards season. 

That show with the rolled Up jeans + the Starbucks drink is clearly Gaga lol. Also Richy Squirrel only world with Gaga and Jojo Siwa. It's most likely for the Dom Perignon contemporary dance performance and/or Vegas, although I'm leaning more towards Vegas since Richy didn't choreograph anything for Dom Perignon

So, let me get this straight. You (and these "other people") arrived at the conclusion and became upset that "there is no LG7" because... she made an announcement about HL when it was extremely obvious from the very beginning from all the context clues in the video? 

 

Again, nobody is saying that we're 100% getting it before JFAD. Some of us are just entertaining the mere possibility of it being already in the works and the slim chance that it does get released within the next year or so. That's the fun part about being in-between eras, y'know. The rumors, the speculation, the spitballing of ideas and making wishlists for potential collabs/visuals/themes. If you believe what you believe, that's also completely fine and valid, but you really don't need to hammer it every time you post. Not only is it redundant, it just becomes complete buzzkill after a certain point.

Ok but have you also considered that just because she's done that historically, doesn't mean she has to necessarily stick to it? Maybe she's just approaching her creative process differently this time around and has been working on it privately, who knows, especially when you factor in her increasing aversion to social media and saying things like she enjoys working in solitude at home in recent interviews?

 

She isn't obligated to post studio pics every time she's working on new music either, it's her prerogative to share what she wants to with the rest of the world.

 

I really do wish she would be a little less careful and just release it like Q4 this year and then go on tour from like March - July

 

She has a perfect window here, it would be a shame not to use it. 2025 feels way too far away

its not risky but its like the idea of copying what happened with Chroamtica post-ASIB. Although, I agree if something is good it'll stick regardless of hype which is what you want. Make undeniable quality and put on TTH and the pull is music, not the era before.  Also, your acting job before doesn't effect quality either

Indeed, these two statements are different than claiming she's a flop and they're not necessarly completely untrue.

 

An underperforming era before the movie could possibly contribute to create negative narratives around her media wise, this is the same woman who has been attacked during the HOG era just for stating she studied acting at school and for the most harmeless stuff.

 

She doesn't necessarly need JFAD to bring hype on her music, sure, but she could definitely benefit more in releasing after the movie in terms of hype.

 

That being said, I don't think these would be the main reasons of why she's not releasing before JFAD, she's very likely just at the beginning of the recording process and aside from that, this woman has been very busy in the last years, she's more than deserving in taking a break and her time to prepare a new music era with calm.

Listening to ARTPOP right now and it’s actually kind of crazy how this album is underappreciated in general. Every time I listen to it it’s like a trip to space, such a variety of sounds and references. An ode to Pop and Art done so wrong 

Its sad that the whole R K*lly fiasco ruined the era when DWUW was shaping up to be a huge hit and probably would save the album.

This is not true. Movie star Gaga is (sadly ) miles above popstar Gaga. LG7 underpeforming before JFAD wont affect it in any way.
