Dua is in her peak MPG era while Gaga is in her legendary MPG era.  The promotion for each artist will be different for obvious reasons.

Being a hit & an awards contender are not mutually exclusive :toofunny3: Gar’s team literally dropped that bomb on Tuesday at midnight & completely washed their hands of it. An artist of Gaga’s caliber demands Friday standard time release with immediate playlist support. There’s no excuse when irrelevant, flash in the pan artists do it every week

Exactly lmao.

Bobby and team were great in Gaga's rebranding post-ARTPOP but they've kinda bombed this decade. The last time they showed any sort of effort was with Chromatica's planned roll-out, which was excellent planning even though it didn't pan out.

I get why they didn't spam 12-year-old Bloody Mary. Sending it to radio was fine and they get that Gaga isn't thirsty for hits. But a new single like Hold My Hand attached to a billion-dollar movie like Top Gun: Maverick deserved a real roll-out, and they dropped the ball there.

Replay is an absolute MASTERPIECE and she KNOWS it.

That's why BURNS is the main producer now. Yup. :clap3:

a "real roll-out" when Shallow did not even get that or do you mean "real roll-out" as in playlisting and such... bc... :deadbanana2:

Yeah for $12,000 :rip:

I can't at this base still dragging her team every time a new Gaga song is not pushed properly :rip:

like hello, didn't y'all get a memo? chasing after hits hasn't been her priority for years now :coffee2:

So Burns is working on LG7?

I'm not buying that just because he put a like on a reply on IG. I need more concrete evidences-receipts.

Exactly, HMH could have ended up a flop either way but what was absurd it that they didn't even try to release it properly.

It’s really simple. We’re not asking Gaga for anything more than the BARE minimum of artists in 2023 - Friday releases with immediate streaming support, commensurate with her level of fame/significance in the music industry, which is VERY HIGH.

HMH completely sucking is a totally different story. Regardless of what they did to promote it, I don’t think it would’ve ever broken the top 20 on BB, so it’s all irrelevant anyway. I would be more pissed if she actually released a song as good as TMBA, and left it to die.

As another user said, she had her quality & quantity soundtrack moment with ASIB, so not like we missed out on something we didn’t already have. Her team is still useless tho

I'm gonna need Plastic Doll to go viral on TikTok when Barbie comes out and overshadow the actual soundtrack

All of this. HMH never would've smashed given that it's straight ass, but a proper release strategy would've given it a fighting chance.

Anyway, J:FáD in under 1.5 years :fan:

Someone tell the BM viral tastemaker acc to get after it

:gaygacat3:

She’ll never give us a TFM / BTW / PrincessDie era again because that was honestly psychosis and she’s moved past that. She takes her medication now :skull: I mean she still pops off, but it’ll never be her entire embodiment like it was during that princess high - ARTPOP promo era

I think with chromatica ball she found the perfect balance, being theatrical while still being in touch with reality/being able to ‘turn off’ the persona

can we also maybe think that this time she hasn't posted a thing about studio time cause she wants to keep it under wraps? she talked about writing at her home studio multiple times

ALSO Hold My Hand could have been magistral and yet flop... OSTs aren't automatic hits so she could serve a masterpiece that could have gone as low as #90 on Hot 100

No, we can’t. She’s hasn’t worked on new music at all.
