Tbh that'd be great imo. The album could ride the J:FaD era through the end of the year and she could still capitalize on the movie's success with  a tour soon afterwards.

Here’s a ranking of the closest she was to winning AOTY:

1. TFM. She should of won

2. L4S. It was a weird year and she was most likely in second place. 
3. BTW. Like mentioned before, it was between her and Adele.

4. TF. It was a competitive year. 3 break out pop girl albums were nominated. Fearless and I am Sasha Fierce. Gaga might have been in third place, even though TF was massive. Having pop and country appeal gave Taylor the win 

Honorable mention: ASIB would of been a front runner if it was nominated 

im really curious why you think LFS was second place? was there some industry mumblings? TFM definitely should've won over arcade fire and if not for adele then BTW would've been locked according to some grammy guy interview a while ago i remember.

tbh i feel like gaga must been caught in a hard place right now when it comes to men, family and her career. 

 

she's always been and probably always will be highly motivated / career driven and i know ms nose won't rest until she gets her best actress oscar. but the sad reality is that most men around her age are probably looking for a woman who's ready to settle down and make babies with them. with the way her career is right now, especially her acting, i really can't see her wanting to sacrifice time atm to raise babies and commit to marriage. not to say that she can't do both, but im sure she would want to spend lots of time with her (potential) kids rather than be filming in asylums for half their lives

L4S won Best Engineered Album, which is occasionally a precursor for AOTY. Also it was one of the most nominated albums of the night. Getting into Best Music Video and ROTY proves that there was a lot of love for the project. 
 

But regardless, the Grammys are a joke. The voters don’t take them seriously, so we shouldn’t either
