They're easily the best label rn. But Gar is never leaving her besties at Interscope with the amount of control they give her. The only possible scenario is her starting her own label.

Did Gaga ever actually work with Sophie for Chromatica? Not sure if that was just a rumour or if they actually did something together and it just didn't make the cut.

She did work with her very early on. I think Sophie was actually (one of) the first collaborator on the album. The demos do exist and we know one of them samples Gaga's Lamborghini exhaust dd.

 

BloodPop said they were finishing a song the week Sophie passed but we're not sure if it was Chromatica related.

Umm I don't think that's the exact reason sis. She was depressed because of many things including the fact that she was "Lady Gaga" the famous pop star, her PTSD and the lasting effects of r*pe trauma, etc

 

LG6 was always going to be a dance record after Joanne. Interscope never "forced" her to do it. They obviously still intervene but she pretty much has a looot of creative control/freedom over what she wants to do with her music. Especially since renewing her contract in 2016.

Nope. Gaga didn’t want to do anything as she was in a black hole during the time. And she told that Bloodpop motivated her and pushed her to write down her feelings and work it on music. She wasn’t on a mood for a dance composing but after all it’s what really liberated her pain with this music.

From what I read, they did something together, but the materials were not enough to create a song.

HMH was kneecapped by its roll-out. It made little sense releasing the song one month before the film.
