All her albums have been subpar since BTW.  Don't get me wrong, they are still good albums, but she hasn't knocked it out of the park since then

Please no, his sound is getting so tired, she needs to work with fresh producers, there's a lot of up and coming producers with amazing new ideas, if she worked with Jack AntonOFF she would be getting recycled melodies and recycled ideas

Honestly, Gaga should just follow Kylie Minogue’s footsteps and explore different kinds of dance music with each new album, and jazz on the side. But I agree that she should mix it up with more HAC/power ballads.

What kind of jazz do you want her to release without doing modern R&B/Soul, covers of old Jazz songs again?

 

R&B can be done in tones of different ways and it's the genre where she can put the Jazz influences and being modern-original, she hasn't to mimick or do what Beyoncé or other black artists usually do with that. Specifically I mentioned Amy Winehouse in first for a reason.

I'm confident Antonoff is not happening regardless, Taylor Swift work feels already like a rehash of what he usually does with Lana, I doubt Gaga wants to go in that  overdone direction.

The industry at large has warmed up to Gaga over the years to the point where they recognize her but for some reason the establishment music producers have NEVER liked her, and I can't stop thinking that it's because Gaga is always so involved in her writing and makes it sometimes too personal, too on the nose and she's not out here shopping for songs. She's never given them a job and she's managed to be successful without them.

Jack Antonoff’s productions are getting old. You can hear where he’s basically lifted productions for different albums from different artists at this point.

Yeah that’s the difference. Sometimes I think about it & it’s really wild how Gaga made timeless global CLASSICS like JD, PF & BR with Red, a relatively unknown producer, while her peers like Katy, Bey & Brit relied on working with the biggest hit makers of the time to smash. Like she really did it all on her own. Subject matter she wanted to talk about, her own lyrics, and sonic instruction for their production. She’s so damn talented it’s crazy

My definition of opera for Gar is more along the lines of Bohemian Rhapsody or Bowie’s Changes but to each their own ig

Kylie is almost 20 years older than Gaga and released DISCO, Beyoncé just released Renaissance. Why do fans act like Gaga’s only option is for Gaga to become an Adele clone? Gaga has released plenty of ballads with Joanne, ASIB, and HMH. I don’t think a ballad album would be interesting at all at this point. 

If Gaga wins the Golden Globe on Tuesday, would that mean she's locked for her second Oscar?

Wasn’t Adele and Celine like young 20s when they were in their prime?  I don’t think age has anything to do with ballads.
