Honestly, I kinda like it better this way. Let's keep it low key, celebrate the numbers and let them speak for themselves. I just have no time to spend on people who still deny how big Godga is and how legendary she will always be (no matter how many Stupid Loves she releases).

 

As I said months ago, The Sound branch is usually very strategic about who they nominate in this category, they like to get 2-3 filler songs by big names so that they perform on the show, but those songs have zero shot of winning. I'd say there's an 80% chance of HMH getting nominated, but there's like close to 0% chance of a win. Why?  Because it would be her 2nd win in the category, a remarkably rare feat, and the song is nothing special, it's an okay song, and the academy generally likes to be pretty picky about handing 2nd Oscars. In any case, I'm sure there's something better than HMH in the category this year, be it a end-credits song or not, because if not, GURL

I feel like being nominated is the hardest part, and I truly believe she's not getting it. 

 

But if she's in, she has a chance of winning since almost every member doesn't give a f+ck about that category. If they cared, Encanto would have won over Billie's 2 years old bland Bond song. 

 

In the end, Gaga is already an Oscar winner. It doesn't matter. ATRL will be nasty as usual, but who cares...

The only people who received song writing credits for Hold My Hand were Gaga and Bloodpop. From the very beginning, they crafted this song to win an Oscar. 
History is on Gaga’s side this time around. Especially since the only category that the original Top Gun won 30 years ago was BOS. 

Or because the Academy has given every Bond theme since Skyfall an Oscar. This is not substantiated at all.

The defeatist attitude every time, SO exhausting. And four more months of this 

 

Literally the same thing as least year "she shouldn't win her second Oscar for this role" meanwhile the winner ended up being from a movie that was received worse critically and that no one saw 

 

How about y'all realize none of the "opinions" about the song posted here matter since nobody here is part of the voting body and nobody has an actual insight into how they feel about it.

 

HMH is a solid soundtrack song – it's no Shallow but it's still pretty good – a baity and cinematic ballad for the biggest critical and commercial film of the year and is literally integrated into the score of the film with a great build up towards an emotional final moment in the film. Like, it's been crafted for the purpose of winning awards, she's not stupid writing these songs or posting long threads on Twitter about its creation process and "how she spent years perfecting it" just for fun or whatever y'know? 

 

Meanwhile in their minds she's an Oscar winner already for a film that doesn't come out for 2 more years hell, hasn't even started filming yet dd you can't make this **** up

Hold My Bomb is not winning anything. Lets end the delusion today girls.

Wow Chromatica Ball Stadium tour was a high budget, tight, focused and immaculately produced. She brought her A game every single night. 

 

She did a very "Lady Gaga" GP friendly show. I'm glad I went to it but I think ARTPOP ball I'll forever hold closer to my heart. I'm glad I lived through era as a young adult I could really take everything in differently. 

 

If she goes on another tour in the future I'm definitely going! Maybe even Vegas. Who knows?
