She's gonna get a new producer for LG7, liddos are gonna stan for like 3 days, then they're gonna whine and whine and whine and direct all their anger at the producer and blame him (or her) for the album not being what they imagined it would be (despite Gaga having a say in the final product). This happens every ******* album cycle.

Still so horrible. I saw a tweet using that Gar's interview with Salma to make a comparison about how uncomfortable was the Don't Worry Darling cast during the premiere today. Our abuse enabler fave truly set the standards.

It's definitely giving HOG with the "everything sucks but the leading lady's performance" narrative. Shame it won't have the same box office.

Girl no one is expecting Gaga to do Taylor's numbers no matter which genre she goes with  literally no one is doing the same numbers as her, we just want Gaga to serve something different, we know she's great with dance pop, she's done dance pop most of her career, it's time for a change

but indie/alternative pop doesnt need to be folklore type of music

there is a lot of upbeat music in these genres

Interscope needs to back off too, i remember how they hired BloodPop to make Joanne more "pop" and i think that hurt the album's reception, let Gaga release her albums exactly as she envisions them!!!

 

If she wants to smash, she needs relatable and easy-listening-to music. Doesn't need to be indie or whatever, it can be pop, it can be dance-y. Chromatica is incredible, but songs are too loud and heavy. It's not the kind of album most people are gonna listen while working or in a relaxing weekend day.

Right? People hear "indie" and "alternative" and instantly think of Taylor and Lana, and let's be honest for a moment, Taylor's "indie" are just ballads with a few "alternative" elements, i would even dare to say that Joanne has some songs that are more indie/alt than anything in folklore 

 

 

Chromatica was a good balance of GAGA and appealing to a broad audience. LG7 could follow a similar structure but more current/likeable radio sound.

Gaga will be like 38 when LG7 comes. It won’t matter if she makes it as radio friendly as possible, she’s too old for Interscope or radio to invest as much in her as they would Billie Eilish or someone under 30.

Gaga was still SAG and BAFTA nominated with a hit movie that got decent reviews. She still kind of won in the end.
