i still remember the days we used to get one or two lucky entries in the Top 200 during the holidays (Halloween, New Years etc) and now we've seen her constantly charting with multiple songs basically the whole year 

 

her rise in streaming is incredible

The fact that Poker Face is closing in on one year spent on the Billboard Global 200 (and a majority of its charting weeks come from this year) is just one thing that shows how massive her catalogue has grown. The streaming poison talking point has been dead for almost a decade now and you can tell that all her haters on here who used to bring it up are pressed that she's gotten so strong there.

Why would she do this? Christmas and jazz are played out you have that michael bublé album for that. She used to create unique things not just copy ideas from others like this.

This take is stupid, sorry sis. That's like saying why would someone ever do jazz standards because it's been done before.  Some types of music are timeless revisits with new versions keeping them fresh for new generations — Christmas music fits right into that category. Gaga will eventually do it and do it amazingly.

 

Of course, she can mix in some originals, but no doubt her covers of the classics would sound great. (Just keep the raspy growling vocals off of it.)
