Dead dance will very likely go top 10 on pop and HAC, which is cool… it'll be her third this era!

 

I feel like the song's chances of becoming a genuine hit is slipping, but I still think there's a chance it could catch heat when Halloween fever comes in the next few weeks.

Until now! I truly feel Abracadabra rivals bad romance as the quintessential, signature Gaga single.

 

the video, lyrics, performances, the way it frames the entire mayhem ball (its quite literally the reacurring theme song of the tour), and it almost represents the entire mayhem era in way. The way you could reference the now iconic red dress, the music video looks, the lady in red… all tied to abracadabra. Conceptually it's just so interesting and has panned out so well. 
 

I think for me personally it has already surpassed bad romance as "the Gaga song" as I like it more personally, it probably won't for the general public just because of how big bad romance was, but definitely think it's the defining "GAGA" song of the second half of her career, basically Bad Romance 2.0 in terms of defining her as an artist. 

The way there's SO many new releases right now. Gaga really released at the perfect time when she did, basically had months where she was the only major noise-maker.

Let's wait and see how Abra is perceived in 10 years but right now it's definitely having a lot of impact. Poker Face outtalented Fad Romance tho
