If nothing big were to get released, this would be #1 for at least 8 weeks, if not 10-15 range tbh.

though that will likely not happen since January-March typically see a lot of big comeback

DWAS's biggest competition for #1 is

Luther

APT.

thats so true

TSS is slowly down, APT and Luther aren't gaining fast enough to pass it anytime soon, with the exception that the Super Bowl could supercharge Luther.

Luther is phenomenal so I wouldn't be upset if that was the song to take over, but I think if it does take over DWAS would likely go back to #1 after unless it's AirPlay takes off (which is a possibility for sure)

Great, now you all are going to push this fan fiction that the announcement was delayed because of the fires

We never had proof that the announcement was even coming this month

Have you ever heard of the concept of an educated guess?

This silence is weird as hell. Period.

Boycotting Gar on streaming by listening to the carpool karaoke performance of Disease in my local files :oh:

Her vocal performance when the chorus hits—->

DWAS is just so good, I hope its placement on the album doesn't sound jarring with the little we've heard.

This kinda sucks hard she got no nom for her work on joker, talentless ass director

I'm curious, putting aside quality which of these two scenarios would y'all prefer

- DWAS smashing like it is and Disease flopping (Perfect Illusion level)

- DWAS flopping and Disease a moderate hit (Million Reasons level)

well

She literally JUST posted a minute long video yesterday and even mentioned the album. That is not being silent… she's whispering :eli: but yes we need her to scream soon

I will say, imo Disease is doing better than perfect illusion, PI was already WAY OUT on billboard hot 100 at this point in its run, didn't make a dent on radio, did it even re enter when the album got released? And disease would've gotten even more weeks had it not been for Christmas

It's kinda close, but disease is at least not her worst performing lead single (and may end up bigger than stupid love despite the difference in peak position!)

one of the most unserious days of this fanbase is when freakshow leaked the day that perfect illusion came out and everyone pretended the former was better :skull:

Guess it was an uneducated guess, since you were wrong

This must also be your first Gaga era. She's always quiet like this. Stupid Love literally leaked 2 months in advance and it took her forever to officially announce it … with a billboard

Diamond Heart at the Joanne tour was a moment. The production had more life, and her vocals with more reverb sound way better than the dry album

That doesn't matter? Do yall know how crazy it is to move up a single release because of a leak? As if she didn't have her own schedule to get everything ready by, promo and all. The push for her to change the single was always dumb as hell but this fanbase is full of clowns.

Leaks are bad for a reason.

Also, if you did the math, the shortest time she's waited to start an era til album release was 7 weeks, for both Joanne and *Chromatica.

Deduction based on pattern, there's the education.

So yeah these fires delaying **** isn't a crazy idea. Makes more sense than believing she delayed the album - though maybe she actually planned to or might bc of today.

The way this was so terrible… and we'd kill for something like it again.

I'm choosing to delude myself into believing this week was supposed to be the announcement week (potentially with a single coming on Friday too) with the album coming on 21/2. It's the same timeframe as Toucanne and Traumatica, and due to unforeseen circumstances they'll push the announcement back to next week and sacrifice a week of pre-orders which is fine.

there is nothinngggg. i even want the fake / concept tracklists back. a lot of them were serves back in artpop / joanne / chroma eras.

well, her silence is a little bit... fun now?

NOT TOUCANNE

I have no choice but to leak the album at this point.

"Midnight Masquerade."

1. "Dark Desire"
A sultry opener with pulsating beats that explores the seductive allure of the night.

2. "Phantom Touch"
A haunting track that captures the feeling of being caressed by an unseen lover, blending ethereal sounds with a driving techno rhythm.

3. "Wicked Games"
A catchy track about the thrill of dangerous liaisons, combining playful lyrics with an infectious techno groove.

4. "Gothic Romance"
A lush, atmospheric song that weaves together themes of love and horror, featuring dramatic instrumentals and passionate vocals.

5. "Veil of Secrets"
A mysterious and seductive track that delves into hidden desires, layered with dark synths and a hypnotic beat.

6. "Masquerade of Shadows"
An upbeat, danceable song that invites listeners to lose themselves in the rhythm while hiding behind a mask of darkness.

7. "Eclipse of the Heart"
A powerful ballad that contrasts light and dark emotions, featuring soaring vocals and a deep, resonant bassline.

8. "Cursed Seduction"
A provocative track that explores the idea of being irresistibly drawn to danger, with a heavy beat and seductive undertones.

9. "Nocturnal Ecstasy"
An electrifying dance track that celebrates the pleasure of the night, filled with pulsating rhythms and sensual lyrics.

10. "Afterlife Affair"
The closing track, a haunting yet sexy anthem that reflects on love that transcends life and death, blending ethereal sounds with a driving techno beat.
