  • Seeing Billie in concert for the first time tonight. I'm so excited

  • I was really not a fan of her performance last night. It felt very similar to her Olympics and SNL performances, which were also underwhelming.   Like I understand that BOAF was the nominee,

I hope WildFlower wins. Otherwise this album will win 0 Grammy and that's ridiculously wrong for an album that is so commercially huge and well-recieved by the GP

Queen got the last laugh omg! Wildflower is one of the best songs of all times, very well deserved

I'M SO GAGGED WTH, I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING AT ALL

WE ARE FINALLY FREEEEEEE

10 TIME GRAMMY WINNER BILLIE EILISH AND A RECORD 3 TIME SOTY WINNER BILLIE EILISH (AND FINNEAS)

she should have won AOTY rip the way the whole era got snubbed so hard.
Thank god Wildflower got something

Hit is obviously more deserving than that pretending country album

The way 7/10 of her Grammy wins are in one of the major categories, such a slay

Hello Billie fans!! Just needed some help from you all. I love Billie, always have, believe she's one of the best out there in mainstream music, always delivers, has incredible storytelling, vocals and production and is one of the few people I eagerly wait for to release a new album.

I do these things called album listening experiences for my friends who don't consume music in album format (they're GP-style, mainly singles and catchy melodies listeners). I want to do Hit me hard and soft in a week. However, I am not an expert on things Billie (I don't 'follow' her and her story as I do, say Beyoncé), so I would struggle to contextualise the album for them. I have done some of my research online, but what better way than to take guidance from the fans! Since I want my friends to develop a taste for understanding projects, albums, and artists beyond hit singles, including who the artist is, their motivations, journeys, etc. I was wondering if you guys had any tips for me. I am thinking of interviews that help understand the album, or the thinking behind it, or whatever. This is the first Billie album we will do (we just started this thing), so I get to set the tone. What aspects about her should I highlight, even in terms of leading up to this album? Btw I personally love the album and it was the only projects in the last 2 years where I saved more than half of it onto my playlists.

And so happy for her Grammy win!

It's kind of poetic justice because Wildflower is a much better song than BOAF even if BOAF is more infectious/easy to digest for the GP

What kind of information do you need?
I'd suggest the interviews she did with Apple Music. The first one was before the album came out, and the second one is the main, longer one (it's over 1 hour btw, so you can skip to around minute 10 if you want, that's when they actually start talking about the album). It's her and Finneas talking about each song, the writing process, the production, and how they were feeling during that time.

For me, it's probably the best interview about the album (even though she did a bunch more after that one). Maybe watch it and pick out some parts you find interesting.

After listening to the album, it'll probably be cool to watch the trailer for the tour movie. It could be a fun friend date after, if they end up liking the album 😊

I was the biggest fan of billie with her debut record. Loved her personality and green hair.
I actually discovered her with bellyache thanks to atrl and i knew she would be huge
From so many suggested singers here she was the only one memorable to me.
So when she turned in that phenomenon i was like.......im not shocked

then i didnt connect with the happier than ever era that much. Didndt like her blonde cut and whole thing
Some songs are good and relaxing but not my thing......
But with the last record. I just love it so much. My fave project from her. Love her black hair too
Her sound is something very special. I dont see genericness like so many singers.

Im so excited about her. I want a new record from her so bad
Any chance she's releasing something this year? or an EP?
I want a new record from her so bad or deluxe or Side-B to her last record

She said she's working on a new album and it's been a minute since she dropped, so hopefully some time this year or early next year at the latest

#40: WILDFLOWER

#42: luther

#123: Manchild

OUT: anxiety, abracadabra, APT

(BOAF is also charting)

But I was told it wasn't a known hit and didn't deserve? Can't wait to see Spotify tomorrow…
