Maybe she'll get a big boost either way like last year despite not winning. With zero promo besides a couple posts on the billieeilishhome accs and barely any mentions in the predictions I fully expect her not to get anything again

I agree that she won't win but I don't think people will be upset the way they were for HMHAS not winning. I hope for publicity she goes at least. We have a little under 2 months until the movie so that's time to kill before BE4 era begins hopefully mid this year.

I'm ok with just a droplet this year ala "everything i wanted" if she wants to take more time with the album and release next year.

We need BE4 in 2026

Billie was with Finneas in LA only 2 or 3 months at most last year because of the tour, considering that she also needed time to rest. Also the way she said "I need to make an album for you" when explaining why the HMHAS tour had to end, suggests that they are still not very advanced in the project ; and Finneas said they would take their time to make a quality album and will not rush it.

Also remember that we won't get any single prior to the album and it would come out at least 3 months after they finish it because of vinyl production (for HMHAS, Billie announced that the album was mastered in February).

So there's absolutely no way we get new music before this fall. At best, they will finish the album in late spring / early summer for a release in September/October. If they take more time which is not unlikely, they will need to wait for the holiday season to be over and release in 2027.

I wish they release a droplet single or a significant collab in the meantime because the wait is long :'(

I feel like her new manager will change the way she releases stuff. I feel like she won't release droplets anymore. The songs she releases are going to be from albums or soundtrack singles only. Like no more "let me release this cute song now for fun and giggles". She will probably only drop a new song with BE4 together or if she is in a top soundtrack song.

Mmm idk I think she's always been very free, her label Darkroom basically lets her do whatever she wants and that's why she chose them, she seems to have the trust of the label. But It's likely that she's not interested in making droplets anymore and wants to focus on albums. Their approach when making HMHAS was quite different from the previous projects. I hope they try to make the collab with Rihanna and send her a song though

It's true! But they didn't have a lot of time together in the studio. Also something else that I know remember. For HMHAS they started hinting at the album and openly talking about it starting from August 2023. Finneas said "the new album is really good" on stage and then in September Billie said in interviews that it was 80-90% done and would be released "soon", only for it to be finished in February (5 months later) and released in May. For now we have zero communication about the new album, so I feel like it's still pretty far but who knows! I can't wait

Hopefully whatever soundtrack song she does next is for a TV show, we need that Emmy!

I think they made some music in 2025 and are taking a chunk of 2026 to really turn it into an album + make more. No reason she would take almost 2 years without a day in the studio

The way I'm glad she got to work with such a legendary director, but at the same time it's also a concert movie ma'am. We don't need a 6 month wait but either way we will be watching regardless

Hmmm I feel like since Billie posted about her GRAMMY noms she'll maybe go.

Every time she went she posted her nominations. In 2023 she only posted them on her IG story and they weren't main category noms anyways.

I'll also never forget that everything I wanted won ROTY in 2021… so I'm not giving up so easy

I have a feeling she will attend the Grammys without performing, similar to Beyonce/Taylor/Adele. I would love a Wildflower performance, but maybe they're thinking it's overkill to perform something from HMHAS two years in a row.

Yeah I agree she'll definitely go and won't perform. It'll be good publicity while we get no content until the movie and then probably until BE4.
