I have a strong feeling it's going to be set in a hotel. The cryptic P/H teaser pretty much proves it.

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Where does “Renaissance” rank as an album title compared to the rest of her catalogue album titles?

I would say…

Lemonade

Renaissance

Beyoncé

B’Day

4

Dangerously In Love

I Am… Sasha Fierce

4) Self-Titled
5) 4

What teaser?

8/20 would actually be the perfect time to drop them. It would give the album a second wind and hopefully another week at the top. I just hope she plays her cards wisely and gives this phenomenal album all its dues. I've been refraining from dragging this questionable rollout for so long (partly due to the sensational music) but if she takes too long I might just give in. :chick1:

I really hope her team has a solid rollout planned still because right now I agree...it feels questionable.  The album deserves the best.  It would be a shame to put so much work into creating an album like this and then not put in the work on the rollout.

Her second week drop, if it really does less than 100k is kind of concerning, and she probably isn't going to be overtaking Bad Bunny anytime soon.

I hope whatever they have planned, gives the album at least a couple more weeks at #1. I feel like Beyoncé should have more multi-week #1 albums than she does.

Nothing we can do... if her and the team aren't doing anything. :gaycat:

Thanks both. :heart2: Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere!

if we are ranking ALBUM TITLES, without considering the material on their respective albums,

1. RENAISSANCE

iconic talented brilliant UNIQUE

2. LEMONADE

she made history with this, invented the lemon emoji and ended that food network lady

3. B'DAY

dropping B'day on her 25th birthday... what an iconic move. this is her og self-titled album.

4. DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE

at least she's self-aware

5. 4

florals for spring? groundbreaking.

6. I AM... SASHA FIERCE

it's giving "Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse"

7. BEYONCÉ

one of her best albums obviously but girl we know your name.

I still think Lemonade is the best album name but I agree with the rest of the ranking.

Her best album titles:

2. BEYONCÉ

5. Dangerously In Love

6. 4

7. B'day

Honestly, she has the most iconic album titles and the way she improved so much in naming her album.

When people mentioned about Lemonade, the album will come to mind. Renaissance will do the same in the future esp with the iconic album cover.

My album title ranking

  1. Renaissance
  2. Lemonade
  3. Beyoncé (I hate self-titled records, but I'm making an exception for this one since the album does represent all sides of her - emotional, sensual, care-free, in love, heartbroken, etc.)
  4. I Am... Sasha Fierce
  5. 4
  6. B'Day
  7. Dangerously in Love

I heard BMS for the first time in a Club yesterday. And my God, the gays knew every lyric. It was an extatic experience. Just incredible!

Im so so happy Bey finally has a single again that is played in the Clubs here in Europe that is not Single Ladies or Crazy in Love. I waited 13 years for that moment :jonnycat:

Btw, I hope Bey performs BMS at the VMAs only and saves AS for the AMAs. I can already envision the performance of BMS:

Bey hits the stage on her giant discohorse, wearing a big diva-esque coat. She's the mother of her House and first of all serves more of a Gospel vibe while her dancers are doing most of the dancing. Then before the 3rd Verse starts, the song switches to the Queens Remix. U hear Madonnas Vogue and Bey does the lalalala-part where she lists all the amazing artists she shouts out. When she mentions the different Drag Houses, 3 representatives of each house are shown in full on drag, giving face and looks. Then the "going round in circles" part comes on, we have firework, Bey is going towards the middle of the stages doing poses and such. And then the reveal comes, she shows herself in a sickening outfit, and straight up Vogues the house down as the mother of her house.

1. RENAISSANCE

2. LEMONADE

3. 4

Everything else is fine, but those are the ones that are most striking. I think self titled was really clever, because it was her first surprise release and of course its smart to title it like that, but it also felt representative of the new her, so i like that one as well.

-album titles-

1. Renaissance

2. B'Day

3. Beyonce

4. Lemonade

5. 4

7. Dangerously In Love

I think IASF is cringey in retrospect & DIL is the most unimaginative album title. An album track from DC last album being the album title does not seem thoughtful. However, I think Beyonce waiting until her 5th album to become Self-Titled was a bold personal statement from a private celebrity like her & the way its just the letters over the cover made it more iconic. Plus it's a one of a kind name...it deserved an ST.

The fact 4 still remains in your Top 3. :jonny5:

ALBUM TITLE RANKING?

  1. Lemonade (says so much in just one word)
  2. Renaissance (same)
  3. BEYONCÉ (the statement of herself at this moment perfect)
  4. B'Day (imo this is the same naming idea of 4, something that goes beyond the music itself, but here it makes sense because it also expresses that exhuberant, loud, LOOK AT ME vibe of the album)
  5. I Am... Sasha Firece (campy, fun but also cheesy, yet it's iconic)
  6. Dangerously in Love (not creative bc its an existing song but its a pretty title that fits
  7. 4 (I get her reasons but it has nothing to do with the music and also is kind of like naming your fish "fish"...it's like...okay?)

1. Lemonade (I was served lemons…but I made lemonade :jonny5:)

2. Renaissance (I feel like the title will make even more sense when we get the film/visuals)

3. Beyoncé (obviously it’s unimaginative, but I think there’s something special about changing the industry with the digital drop and making sure that moment is always associated with your name)

4. B’Day (it’s a cute pun)

5. 4 (unimaginative)

6. Dangerously in Love (girl I guess)

7. I Am Sasha Fierce (no you aren’t)

Well...not too much on 4. :gaycat1: It's a bit more sentimental than naming a fish a fish. We all know she's into numerology and 4 has always been special to her. Plus she said it was the Hive that practically named the album b/c she was going to name it something different. She gave homage to us. We pioneered the whole numerical stuff that everyone else is doing. Another credit to our legendary fanbase.
