It might be it, it's just out of character for her since everything has been done without hype. 

I also find 30h too long, don't hype peak usually peak just a couple hours after? 

Anyway June would be a good month and it would make sense, she was just also waiting for Harry to be done since they're on the same label.

The fact that Work It Out was released on June 11 actually makes the whole "retrospective" theme paired with something happening today more and more likely.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Formation & Everything Is Love released sometime between 1:00pm-3:00pm EST? If an announcement or single release was happening today, I would expect it to happen within that timeframe.

I believe in EST, EIL dropped midday and Formation had like a tease during the midday but the song dropped in the evening. 

There are probably clues in the search results. So far we know its coming in June, thats the only month that gives the placeholder image. Now... time to start searching names. I've already tried Emerald and Rose to no avail, get typing flops

Then Wednesday afternoon she announces the lead single title. It comes out 2 days later on June 17th accompanied by a video.
 

A day later she announces a world tour with the first dates, which should commence at the beginning of August.

 

There’s also the visual album possibility… so the film/ series gets released on Netflix same day as the album or the Thursday before.

Yikes  but if she’s planning physicals and vinyls I think she needs some time to execute that plan especially if she wants them to be a part of her first week sales. 
Add to that the possibility of a visual recording, she needs to tease that with teasers, trailers, posters and all of that. Get Netflix on board too. They actually teased a Beyoncé collaboration before announcing Homecoming but they’ve been very quiet amidst all this chaos. 
 

 

She can definitely release a single today though

I remember the gap between formation and lemonade the problem was she announced the tour but she didn’t announce the album. Even though one could deduce an album was coming, we really didn’t know. And that really sucked

Presuming she is dropping something today, I hope everything is finished this time  She really kills herself with the pressure she puts on herself.

 

I can't imagine finishing a movie, an album and planning/rehearsing a tour knowing you HAVE to finish it by a certain day or everything falls apart. 

It will feel weird to just drop anything out of nowhere for her solo material without a grand introduction.
 

Formation was performed at the Super Bowl literally a day later

Omg I remember randomly checking her site and the Lemonade cover appeared and it said HBO special next Saturday. 
 

I would love to get excited, but it’s Beyoncé we are talking about..with her you never know for sure until you can heart it/see it! That winged lion tho…

I still want a release date, like something to build up hype, not a surprise or last minute drop.

The BET awards coming soon too. If we revisiting the past her big debut performance was on that stage.
