They should send CUFF IT to radio today so that it can start gaining traction.

 

She should then release the ALIEN SUPERSTAR video on Friday for that 13-1 Hot 100 shift the following week. BMS is going #1 anyways. That’s 2 #1 smashes this era, back to back. The BMS video can come Friday August 12th. 
 

CUFF IT will be surging on the charts thanks to radio play, BMS will remain super stable and possibly return to #1 due to radio, sales and video pushing the streams… multi- week #1 baby! And ALIEN SUPERSTAR will remain a viral and streaming hit, with the video keeping it afloat the Hot 100 top 10. 
 

Release the video for CUFF IT on August 26th. The song will have good radio, decent sales and the video will bolster streams. Perform all three songs at the VMAs with a major focus on CUFF IT. This sends CUFF IT to #1 on the Hot 100 due to sales &streams (helped by video + VMA performance) and decent radio. 3 #1 hits before Grammy eligibility cut-off. I A… SF who??

 

 

The team constantly referring to "visuals" has me thinking there aren't any actual music videos but it's really a one hour film

The “bridge” of the song is really the only place where she belts and for a total of 4 words and lasts 15 seconds.

I mean there's a specific kind of vocal that I think works especially well on a lot of pop music (especially on radio), I'd describe it as typically sharp, crisp but textured vocals. I think this one of the reasons Rihanna become such a hit darling and another reason why Beyonce began wan. Her voice got heavier and she leaned even further into soulfull RnB delivery with lots of runs, mid-low tone, lots of vibrato.

Sweet Dreams has her cutting through the instrumental like a Samuri sword with her sharp/crisp delivery which still have interesting technique and tone. All Up In Your Mind does a similar thing and I think the GP would lap up that kind of delivery, although the song is maybe too alt pop. But I can see it going viral on tick tok, its filled so much unhinged personality.

OMGosh! This makes so much sense. Rihanna's timbre and aggressive, faux-growl deliveries are viably efficacious on hard hitting/slow beats. She was so self-aware vocally of her studio voicing; I think Rihanna finally understood deeply what clicked and needed to be done after Monster was a hit. This is why it can be argued that Schoolin' Life was the hit that got away. Honestly, she could have replaced Dance For You for Schoolin' Life, and we probably would have had 4's greatest hit, competing against Run The World. 

 

The structure of Sweet Dreams enabled her to sing the song in extremely creative ways; slow tempo R&B, fast tempo pop, and a shutting the opera house down rendition. In my opinion, Best Thing I Never Had and Countdown live versions were lackluster and just didn't bring the 4D life to the songs. She should have re-arranged the arrangements in such a way where her vibrato would make it sound explosive. I believe that is partially why both singles didn't optimally sell.

 

All Up In Your Mind is serving virtuosic, Rock N' Roll Rihanna on steroids vibes, which is why the GP would swallow it. She just needs to keep that "unhinged" temperament live and NOT do the song dirty a la Blow. 

I love "I'M THAT GIRL", it's a really nice intro track and also it has this mysterious vibe to it. I don't get the hate, I love her verses and different singing styles on that one.

I don't hear it. Wait Your Turn is slow, Caribbean-esque, lacking in aggression, and too electro to sound like AUIYM
