No, they probably have a rollout planned, with something big likely accompanying the release. Beyoncé hasn’t just done a standard-issue release in over a decade, and I’m sure she and her team have devised another facet to the album that’s meant to both give it an ‘explosive’ debut and extend its shelf-life (read: there’s likely a gimmick attached to this as she’s done for her last few albums ).

Has an album ever been released without a music video for the first single? I’m honestly just confused by that decision.

I actually think the leak comes from them, since there’s apparently FLAC version around. If you rip the album from a CD, I believe you only get a 320bpm version which is one of the lowest sound quality
