I had to leave the album thread, those reviews got my about to cave in and listen.

I don't plan on participating in the album thread tomorrow night anyway. It's going to be flooded with people wanting to ruin the mood so I'll just stay here.

We're in the hype stage of a new album.  I remember the initial response to EIL being just as effusive. 

 

(I'm not saying it isn't great, but I also don't put too much stock into first opinions.)

I just have one full day to go through. Tomorrow I'll click play. 

I am frustrated we don't get to experience it all together at the same time though. It takes away from the experience.

Anyway just popped back onto this base to say no one knows about the leak aside from forum stanbases. Haven't heard a peep outside of atrl and my one friend who visits other forums. 

 

Anyway off again, hopefully we get some meaty promotion tomorrow. Although I'm super excited it doesn't feel like an album in about to drop.

Listening to a leak hours before an album is released is clown behavior. Period. I'm glad that i'm smarter than that. Hearing Bey's vocals on Tidal top quality is what this album deserves and the ONLY thing i'm doing tomorrow then i'll have my physical copy for my car and this weekend i'll go for a drive listening to the whole album again in my car while i drive. 

Did someone also pre-order the digital album from her website?

I'm a weak ***** and gave in  I found it and just played it last night in my hotel room with my friend while getting ready to go out. Only had time for one listen and when we came back it was gone ddd so now I'll just wait until tomorrow.

 

First listen was a LOT to take in omg. Very unexpected. Cannot give ny full thoughts but yeah this is a wild one. There's obviously some brilliant ones that hit instantly but most of the songs I need to dive in properly when it's out and with headphones. Cuff It, Virgo, POTS and Summer Renaissance were my favorite on initial reaction.
 

I don't remember how it sounds but I was NOT feeling Alien superstar omg. Hopefully I change like a f soon. Also my friend critqued the fact that she's using a lot of gen Z slang and said she's above that. 
 

I just hope tomorrow comes with VISUALS because this desperately needs it.

It's so twisted how the leak is all over the news. Albums have been leaking lately and they never were in the news. Even here on Atrl, the rush to listen, mostly by her haters make no sense. The mods having to close threads and put banners that then inform everyone of the leak.

The leak annoys me tbh.
