Nah. It's cus of her Netflix deal. 

 

Her next long form visual will be streamed there and Netflix want exclusivity so won't allow it to be sold as a DVD/Blu-ray.

We know she has been filming.  Honey Dijon was in LA filming in like March?

Yeah, I think Netflix would've announced already. They don't really do surprise releases a lot. Plus, surprise releasing the film while everyone will be unaware busy listening to album isn't that smart. My guess is if there is a film, it will be announced soon for a later date (like mid next week).

Regardless of what happens I'm waiting until Friday to listen to the album. If I need to stay off of Twitter then I'll just have to (same goes for here).

My issue is I work Thursday night (7p-7a), and wont be able to listen until my drive Friday morning (I know I wont be able to sleep).  I'm going to DIEEEEEEEEE not being able to listen right when I'm able to

Honestly, releasing a video for Break My Soul and then a Netflix visual next Friday with the regular edition of the vinyl would be really intelligent. So I’m not counting on it.

All of her past streaming films (Lemonade, Homecoming, BIK) were announced at least a week in advance w/ trailers and I cannot see Netflix agreeing to surprise-dropping a film with little notice. 
 

Maybe a film will come next Friday and we’ll get a trailer this Friday, or maybe a film won’t come until next month. But I think the ship has sailed for one coming this Friday.

On the one hand, I was convinced that if a visual was coming that the trailer would be with us latest yesterday. BUT...remembered Netflix very occasionally do surprise drops (e.g. Chapelle specials). So, it's not totally out of the realm of possibility. 

 

That said, I think Bey would benefit from a pre-announcement. As "a visual album from Beyonce" is not really a surprise a "shocker" anymore. 

 

Like y'all said, I'm beginning to think maybe the longform visual simply isn't ready, so will drop later as a means of sustaining hype. Not ideal, but if the case then it is what is it. IMO, it would NEED to come out release week though. Max the next Friday if she wants it to have any kind of affect on sales.

Considering everything that's been happening this week though I would like to increase my prediction to the 400k threshold and above. I feel like this will be Beyoncé's most accessible album since IA...SF, in a way, it seems like everybody is getting a bit of what they were hoping for.

I used to not like this song (only because it felt inferior to the rest of the BEYONCÉ album) but it’s grown on me sooooo much.

Promo needs to start kicking in though. 

 

A few live performances can still do wonders.
