We NEED go petition for "I Was Here" to become the soundtrack of the next Olympics in L.A.. This could become her "One Moment in Time". The lyrics are perfect, Bey is an L.A. resident, she is THE symbol of US American Music. Now cmon now! We need to somehow contact the Olympic Commitee and forward the idea. Its too good to let it past and I Was Here is literally PERFECT from start to finish for this occasion.

I have beef with Diane Warren and her lack of ability to understand sampling / multiple songwriters when it comes to Beyonce (as well as her uncredited theft of the "Bills Bills Bills" melody to create Lady Gaga's "Why Did You Do That"), but this opportunity is bigger than the beef, I suppose. "I Was Here" is already becoming something of a graduation staple and a talent show choice... so why not?

 

I would love to see B and Kendrick headline the Olympics performance.

I have to add DIL classic "Hip Hop Star": a groove out of the wheelhouse of Prince, Vanity, and Apollonia.

"Schoolin' Life" is very Prince-rock as well.

 

Really hope the trend doesn't die down anytime soon so both songs can really reach a lot of ears. ALL NIGHT in particular is truly one of her very best.
