I did wonder about this as well. I think it's 2 factors, the first being people aren't rushing to stream Cowboy Carter the same way they were with Renaissance during the tour and instead are going back to the old hits and Bey is actually performing her hits this time.

 

The GP is really craving that Greatest Hits tour!

Absolutely. I didnt expect IIWAB to have this type of revival again, but its beautiful to see. As fans, we know how great her discography is, so lets hope it increases even more

Fun fact is that since the tour started my most streamed album is self-titled while she skipped it totally this time

I know she is mad she likely signed the contract for Cowboy Carter before Gaga started casting for Coachella and her tour. The dancers do seem underutilized compared to Renaissance. The slow songs + Spongebob flying moments. But Honey has the privilege of having solo moments both tours, that ain't happening at that other lady's show.

If she had performed her hits during RWT, they would have gotten a boost too.

 

She hadn't performed her GP hits in more than a decade and it's just a small medley too.

Call me old school, but I don't like this. In that, I don't like that Honey posted this. 

 

I'm used to Bey running a tight ship, with any behind-the-scenes dramas staying exactly that...behind the scenes.

 

This contemporary era practice of sharing your every thought or, like in this instance, sharing displeasure about work (with "work" being a huge, very public-facing tour) isn't the move. 

 

I did see that they followed up and centered it more on their creative energy, but it equally would be light work for a tabloid to look at it as low-hanging fruit and use it to make negative stories about Bey and the tour. 

 

I know it's not "that" big of a deal and that I'm being somewhat pendantic, but the ponts still hold.

I fear for her haters that track her streams every day the day she does a greatest hits tour (and actually utilize them to their fullest extent, and not for 2 verses in a medley)

We are coming off Renaissance, that tour can't be topped, especially in the wardrobe department. Let's enjoy this 32 dates Anglo American tour for what it is. It will be over soon. For the time being it's nice to have new Bey clips on my timeline.

Remember this is the Cowboy Carter Tour so we're not going to get high end fashion like the Renaissance Tour. Of course outfits are going to be more denim-styled, cowgirl centered. 

 

Yes we were very spoiled with the RWT outfits but we don't have to make comparisons against them every single time.

And speaking of outfits, this is a top three outfit from RWT and I don't care what anyone says:

The tides have turned and it seems like she's on the up again with social media perception (her public persona is always positive of course) but I've noticed she's not popular to hate on social media as of late. 

 

I've noticed with Beyoncé (Taylor Swift is the only other artist I see this pattern with) there are periods where it's just so popular to hate them, for no reason other than just hating

 

The moment her tours kick off and the reviews roll in, it's nothing but love again.

Louis freaking Vuitton recently had a whole menswear collection (that she wore some pieces from already) dedicated the cowboy aesthetic. I'm sorry but favé can do better with the fashions. She is paying wayyyy too many people do look "just fine" on stage. This is BEYONCÉ we're talking about.

Honey had to come out and state how false the narrative was spreading among Beyonce haters.

 

I get what Honey was trying to convey. I don't necessarily think it was critique towards Beyonce but probably a frustration with her own performance. I do wish that Honey kept it to herself because now Beyonce haters are going to misinterpret her message and use it against Beyonce. They're already running with it on stan twit.

Bey is using the Tour Version of Spaghetti in her newest insta Video. Thats a first right? (For her to use a new tour mashup already in an official video/post)

 

I love how the show looks in her instaposts. She looks Fab, Blue looks fab, the show looks fab + I love good press. It was very exhausting prior to the show, so im happy positive vibes are returning.

my theory is that act iii was supposed to come out already (that's why she's been teasing it last year) but then the stuff with Jay Z and "she knows" happened. that's when I think that she decided to go on tour instead to repair her image. her live performances always give her good press
