I just want to say you're welcome to everyone for manifesting the addition of the hits. It's a thankless job sometimes but someone has to complain.

 

this tour needed more hits to balance the deep cuts. now she should cut 10 songs & its perfect.

I'm glad that she added the hits (even though we know she could've had more today with a different strategy). There is something magical about a crowd singing along to hit songs in a stadium.

Well, the decision came with a benefit: "Sing it yall" didnt result in crickets

She can save that when she wants to just drop a tour unattached to an album, and can sell it as a retrospective honouring her days from Destiny's Child to present. THEN we can complain if she's not doing the hits. Right now...for an album she barely promoted, with barely three singles (two of which were released simultaneously, one of which was neglected), it seems almost at odds with her ethos to expect her to tour catalogue hits and not the bulk of her album + whatever else she's excited to include.

she kinda did that with Mrs Carter Tour before self titled, when I saw it she only did five songs from 4 and it was more than two years old. I swear that show was only 90 mins long, look how far we've come.

Yeah Jolene would have hit in 2013-2016, at the time people liked that kind of statement about flipping the script. But with Gen z and their obsession with "relatability" and self depreciation from artists, songs like alien superstar and Jolene didn't click, which is unfortunate.  It's Beyoncé's whole aesthetic and sound that isn't vibing with them.

I think Alien Superstar is really liked by Gen Z (speaking as one)—for ages it had major streaming power too

This part. It all screams new Hive to me. Bey always tweaks her setlist as the tour goes on. Especially after night 1. 
 

They want her to be T*ylor so bad acting like every little thing is a hint or a clue when she's not like that. 

 

You can tell she had her rest after the non-stop rehearsing prior to the first show 

 

 

Also screaming at the tour being the topic in the Gaga fanbase.

I woke up and I almost died. from all the videos I've seen, everything worked so much better and she was on fire. I'm so happy damn 

 

@giRLbye. now tell her to perform SL/Irreplaceable/LOT/IIWAB closer to the fans like she did with Heated last time. she could even make Irreplaceable longer and let the stadium sing it to her. she's gonna love that

Its in her Top5 most streamed songs despite her having neglected Irreplaceable for a decade and a half. Like, people clearly LOVE it.

Now All Night needs ha moment too and the world is healing!
