the star stage is just so stunning.

 

I prefer the circular entrance, but altogether this stage EATS RWT's which looks very simple in comparison.

also the star, the lone star, the texan icon, the way she has played with the depiction of the American flag's stars (which represent unity) throughout this era...

EDIT: meaning I'd assume tracking day ended at midnight there, which is before she performed them.

100%. It's not just the lighting effects but also what a pleasant atmosphere the lights create, like the color scheme and the contrasts. I wish I had a better language to talk about this but it's so good to look at like you mentioned. 

Adding the medley was smart. People see mainstream hits performed, they go crazy, more tickets are sold lol smart promo.
