I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

You're fundamentally misrepresenting what Lemonade is about. The title alone suggests the album is about making something sweet out of the sour, and half the songs (the latter half, ie. the conclusion and point of the story) are about the journey to and the experience of their reconciliation. At the time of Lemonade's release, they were firmly and solidly a couple. To suggest she should have released the album to Spotify to spite him and in spite of the business SHE signed into as well after she very clearly forgave him is an odd interpretation of the record.

It'd be different if the album never had a happy conclusion, if it ended with "I still hate him". But it didn't, so it's not really "a choice", it's her resuming her life as usual.

Nope. I STILL think the way Lemonade was released and left in tidal prison to rot was a choice. And the Gift is better anyway. The meaning on lemonade isn't lost on me… she's just better than me ig

Yeah, Jay's team is going in:

Will await to see how the judge reacts to all of Jay's filings, but should it go his way, this crazy Buzbee guy could actually mess up his schtick in the Diddy case by proxy. Because should Jay and co get certified rulings against him, it can undermine all of his other ish. Lemme be clear that Diddy deserves all his dues for his wrongs, but this is giving "play stupid games win stupid prizes" when it comes to how it looks like he's about to be exposed for his dubious antics.

I knew this lawyer was shady the way he's been mouthing off on social media, what respectable lawyer goes on social media giving updates about his client's cases..?

Is it just me or does not seem like it's THAT big of a story? The only people foaming at the mouth are the haters surprisingly.

Not one of my friends has mentioned this to me, which I find shocking. They mention pretty much every piece of Beyoncé news to me, not necessarily because they care (:toofunny2:) but because they know I do. But no one has shared this or mentioned it at all. I'm very surprised.

I'm loving the support I've been seeing Blue get. Of course some of the usual haters have been spouting disgusting things (i.e the comments about her dress which was insane for someone to say) but I've seen non-stan accounts on twitter defend her and it warms my heart. I remember a time when she was getting picked apart even as a literal baby so it's nice to see her get warmth and support :heart2:

It's so annoying this happened right before the red carpet. We missed out on so many photo ops. I'm sure she ran out of there instead of taking pics with her costars. The Michelle Williams of the dream girls movie was there too. Idk her name.

Because he is losing. He is desperate to make Jay Z appear dangerous now because in court he is not going to win this. Plus there is doubt now about the existence of a woman. They would have to find the woman with the right age and her story must be believable. He thought Jay Z would be so afraid of his reputation being tarnished that he would work out a deal, now that he sees that not only it's not happening, Jay Z is suing back and he has good lawyers. When even TMZ who are no fans of Bey and Jay are calling this thing fake, you know Jay has nothing to worry about.

It's crazy they think he would just pay what is essentially at this moment, a ghost, it would leave it open for more "anon" people to just come and sue too. What is this case about a man? What is the hold up with that one?

If if does turn out to be genuine or more cases come, she really needs to think fast going forward about him because …

He basically told TMZ that during an interview. He puts pressure on rich people to force them to cut a deal. He never reveals his clients so most of them could be made up or he pays actors to play victims. He basically built a fortune on this. Also a MAJOR part of this that the media have not even mentioned is that he is a Trump supporter. He hates Kamala and insulted her and her supporters the entire election. Beyoncé supported Kamala so this is his way of doing payback. I'm actually very surprised he has not tried Bey also but since she was so young in 2000, he knows there will be HUGE holes in the story.

If that's true, he could be ruined so I'm not sure about that. Other lawyers will definitely be hoping to jump on this so I don't expect this to be it.

There is big money to be got from this so at this point I wouldn't just believe anyone either, I've seen enough crazy this year like people believing Bey killed people, so it wouldn't surprise me to see someone take it one step further and sue.

I won't be defending Jay though because you just never know with this kinda thing, I'll wait for the trial.

Nobody is telling you to believe anything. The smart thing to do here is wait to see if evidence is presented.  Those who have believed in the theory that Jay Z and Beyoncé were evil and exactly like Diddy though, what changed for them? without evidence, it's still the same thing, only this time a lawyer got bold and took it further. Time will tell.

Mathew !!! :khalyan2:

The only mistake Mathew made in his tenure managing solo Beyoncé was not making I Am... Sasha Fierce an actual double album. :coffee2: "Stop Sign" + "Forever To Bleed" would've been perfect for the I Am side.

Based on interviews with producers, "Damaged" (Danity Kane), "I Hate This Part" (PCD), "Love Sex Magic" (Ciara / JT), "G Is For Girl (A to Z)" (Ciara), and "Love Is My Disease" (Alicia Keys) were all finalists for this project. Could you imagine those alongside what made it? :alexz:

Put Louis' face over :eddie:

She really hammed it up for the red carpet, lol at her waddling to the other side in front of Blue. The heels are a choice though.

As a fan I like the idea of things being shaken up for them since it's one of the few times we see a bit more of her or doing something out of the mundane norm but obviously not this situation.

People file as John or Jane Doe because of the serious possibility they could face retribution from powerful people and/or their rabid fans.  A judge may ultimately rule she has to come forward with her real name, but until then let's not start acting like Barbz here.  Being able to file anonymously like that is an option for a reason.
