I really hesitated to bring up Michael Jackson, but I do think it has to be mentioned that he had a damaged legacy, but his talent was louder than any allegations against him. He was still able to release platinum albums and tour. His downfall was mostly his erratic behavior, appearance, and lack of consistency, and bad health/addiction.

 

Do ya'll Stan for the same Beyoncé I know? These accusations are against her husband, not her. I think even if it's just by association, Beyonce improves on all levels what MJ did, and as poor as the analogy is, fact is she is resilient and will not succumb to anything close to his fate.

The fact that the Carters are smiling in front of the camera's and showing up strong should tell you all you need to know.

They look beautiful, but also very uncomfortable. I hate to see Blue have her special moment be tarnished like this. The timing is crazy, but Jay seems to be confident in his position. I guess time will tell.

I'm so glad they are not letting Blue's moment be ruined. The timing of this is no coincidence. They want all their future projects tarnished and many are career definiting moments coming up for Bey and Blue. They will not win.

Just stop. It feels uncomfortable because they just had that talk with Blue like it was stated in Jay's statement. Blue is at the age that they cant sugar coat such thing to her, they must be truly honest with her. Could you imagine having this talk before a red carpet event for your first film? As a pre-teen? it's another moment of people trying to break a family because they deem them too fortunate.

This always happens to Bey before a major moment. Remember the lip synch scandal just before her superbowl halftime show in 2013? it's not the first time she is facing this crap. This will motivate her to go even harder for this coming halftime show.

You act like I'm holding it against her for feeling uncomfortable. It's just a sad thing to see her moment being stolen, but it's also very powerful for them to stand strong together, which is what I should have clarified. 

Blue Ivy has ALWAYS looked uncomfortable in public. She was never a super smiley child in paparazzi photos. Please let's not dissect that girl. She is clearly shy but aspires to be like her Mom.

Blue has Bey's personality. They are both shy but are determined to live out their dreams.  Blue will be fine with both parents preparing her for this industry. Such uncomfortable moments will make them all even stronger. I truly believe that.

I don't get the confusion on some people worrying about her, even if proven completely false (which I think it will be) she's going to be surrounded by toxic masculinity magnified and could face a roar of boo's. Not to mention crazies who might now try to target them, it's a lot and unlike anything the hive has faced before.

If Beyoncé can survive the 2016 black panther response and police boycott she survive anything I promise. I have always been worried about Beyoncés safety and I admit my heart was racing when she was at the Kamala rally and I still get anxious seeing her in random public settings but ultimately if Taylor swift has yet to be targeted (besides that one bomb threat) then I can assure you Beyoncé is just fine. And she's by far the most protected celeb. Someone said on Reddit she went to the dome in Las Vegas for a meeting and they never saw so much security in their life.
