y'all love to be dense and dumb. The press release for Renaissance said that visuals were coming at a later date. Parkwood ALSO posted about the Renaissance visual drop. There's been CONFIRMED reports of her filming several films and also a Renaissance film being shopped to different streamers. TS Madison has also said that what she's up to is OTHERWORLDLY. It's not that the visuals aren't coming, the music is enough for NOW. Also, we have so many other things to worry about and fight for. We're getting visuals 2026 because ACT III is closer than one would think. :)

Or she might have suddenly changed her mind, simple as that. It's not far-fetched.

It has to.

I believe she's planning a tour for the trilogy, not just for CC.

Speak on it. Hundreds of people from crew, set designers, hair/makeup, costume and wardrobe team, editors, etc. banking on this opportunity to further their careers and she just **** all over them. Sure they got paid, but the exposure that comes with doing a Beyoncé project is just flushed down the toilet.

Plus Parkwood is producing so Beyonce is paying for making these visuals. It's a waste of millions of dollars of her her own money but I guess she doesn't mind taking a financial L if it's in her heart to not release visuals.

I hate to say it but I wonder if the haters saying she needed visuals for Lemonade and Self titled to get critical acclaim and the snubs Black is King got inspired her to not do it.

it seems to me even though she says she's unbothered that Beyonce does actually  take hater criticism to heart  and likes to proving her opps wrong  because she did a deep dive on country music all because the CMAs disrespected and booed her.

I hope she returns to Queen of R&B for her next album and doesn't do rock. It's not a coincidence Cuff it and Virgos groove are the songs that are acclaimed and have aged the best from Renee and 4 is her fave album. She's the Queen of R&B and she needs to start claiming that the way Mariah claims Queen of Christmas and Mary is Hip hop/soul.

Sorry but this is pathetic. Drag me all you want, she is acting like she didn't film them already and this was the plan all along to have no visuals. I could get Renaissance visuals going wrong or whatever, but she would've had time to film (We know she has) a few videos for CC and correct the mistakes from the previous era, even if they went wrong too, so this makes no sense? Wtf is she at? She knows we want visuals so is she really going to give us nothing for act 3? Unless she doesn't want to say they are coming. Saying the film is the visuals, not everyone got to see that. This is a ******* mess and she deserves to be dragged. 3 eras with not 1 video, that's a disgrace.

Also interview through email :rip: she is like a different person now

On a positive note, she looks great. Hate the cigars this era though.

OK you guys, correct me if I'm wrong...

  1. Beyonce filmed the Beyince visual album even before the Renaissance visuals because it was planned to drop first.
  2. Nadia Lee Cohen worked with Beyonce on Renaissance after shooting Beyince, when Beyonce decided she was making a trilogy.
  3. Parkwood decided to lead with Renaissance, anticipating a desire for dance music post-pandemic.
  4. Renaissance as a visual album wasn't completed in time for the album's release (as evidenced by the fact we saw them shoot Break My Soul in Bushwick after the album released). This was probably partly due to Beyonce's knee injury, but also because Acts I and II were switched at the last minute. Beyince Film was ready to drop, but Renaissance Film was not.
  5. Parkwood drop the album alongside a note to explain the visuals would be released soon.
  6. Parkwood drops the Cliquebait teaser to drive up hype for Break My Soul during release week to nab that number one.
  7. Shooting wraps on Renaissance, a Teaser is edited and released for the visuals
  8. Beyonce cannot settle on a final edit of the film. For whatever reason, she is unhappy with the end result.
  9. Beyonce goes through knee surgery, preventing her from re-shooting the visuals anytime soon.
  10. Dubai performance: Beyonce wants to maintain her image of thee perfect performer despite her not being fully healed from surgery. She tries to ban phones. This fails. She goes viral for DiL outro and limping.
  11. The anticipation for Renaissance visuals continues to drive speculation and streams of the album, which has incredible legs culturally mainly due to so much intrigue as to how Beyonce will flesh out this new world (tour? visuals? interview? etc.)
  12. Amidst the anticipation, Cuff It takes off thanks to a viral tiktok challenge. Outlets pose the question: if Bey wont release visuals, will the hive make them ourselves?
  13. The Rennie World Tour is announced, smashes ticket sales records.
  14. The Rennie World Tour opens. Multiple set pieces are obviously inspired by the visuals we haven't seen. Bey is still clearly recovering.
  15. "You've asked for the visuals, You've called for the queen" interlude an attempt to pacify fan demand while not committing to ever actually releasing them.
  16. "You are the visuals, baby."--our first indication she's scrapped the project? Or a troll?
  17. The Rennie Tour wraps, Beyonce is overjoyed, she has fully recovered from her knee injury, the album's legacy has been solidified.
  18.  The Rennie Film is announced. Cinema websites list the director as 'Nadia Lee Cohen', suggesting that Parkwood may have been shipping two different projects to theatre chains (the Bey directed tour doc and the Cohen directed visual album).
  19. Around this time, Beyonce re-works Beyince into Cowboy Carter, re-mixing songs, adding new features and recording Ya Ya.
  20. This now means the Beyince visual album is not able to be released--all these new songs were never filmed back in 2019 because they hadn't been recorded yet!
  21. Unfortunately, thousands of vinyls have already been pressed. Parkwood decide to sell them anyway rather than lose out on profit. Act II is announced, but Beyonce is yet to even re-shoot the Act II album cover.
  22. Superbowl. "Drop the new music."
  23. Nadia Lee Cohen re-posts the Act II Texas teaser to her instagram with the caption 'Coming Soon' - it's unclear whether this is insider knowledge or if she is just as in the dark about her own project as us.
  24. Cowboy Carter is released. Texas goes Number 1 off the back of another fan-video phenomenon. It becomes evident to Parkwood that they do not need visuals to sell music.
  25. No visuals drop for Cowboy Carter, but Beyonce is known to be recording footage in western bars and outlets. This footage is still yet to be released. It's not unlikely that these shoots are for music videos, but there's no sense that they will see imminent release.
  26. "The music is enough" interview is released. Beyonce confirms that, at least for now, no visual album is coming anytime soon. While the PR spin suggests this was always the plan, it's clear from the above that this was a decision made during the trilogy.
  27. Beyonce explains the thing that excites her most today is 'legacy and longevity'. It appears she continues to dangle the visuals carrot in order to build out this era of hers, and help it maintain momentum.
  28. The hive moans online that nobody even cares about visuals anymore, but viral tweets with 10s of thousands of likes, and their own ATRL rants suggest otherwise.

She can't say they are coming when there's more than one year left for that because she knows how the hive would act. She just doesn't want us expecting them, they'll come when they have to. Nothing has changed from what we knew before the interview.

I also take issue with her putting that pretentious spin on the reason for no visuals.

Acting like she never filmed any in the first place :rip:

Its disrespectful to the fans.

With all love and respect, I really don't get takes like this.

Beyonce is NOT about to come out and say: "So....Hive, I wasn't feeling the visuals we shot. So we're reshooting the whole thing" or "tbh chile, no streamer was tryna to buy it last year".

It's just not going to happen. Nor should it.

So much of the music industry is smoke and mirrors. Even with our faves. It's part of the hoopla and a big part of what keeps the sheen on the shiniest stars.

I'm sorry, call me old school, but I've long liked my superstars with superhero-like auras. So, I'd rather go along with the spectacle, theatrics, and outright tricks (as is the case with this visual explanation of hers) rather than have her spill her own tea and come across like the average struggle-bus act doing-over an era.

The stan in me, of course, wants the tea but, more than anything, I like my Beyonce giving the perfectionism she sold me on. She talks alot about not being on that wave anymore, but her continuing to BS about the reality of the visusls and generally continuing to slay to the degree she does lets me know that she's not being entirely upfront about "embracing imperfection".

When the 3 acts are released, she will release the visuals for all the projects, like a Marvel universe thing. I mean that's basically what she did with Black is King and the gift album but she will take it further this time, as Beyoncé usually does, she goes further and further in her art. She wont mention that right now because there is no point and in this social media age people want things so quickly, they just wont get it.  I always understood why she didn't release the visuals, she is trying new things with this trilogy and see how it goes. She has earned the right to experiment  like that after working for so long and so hard.

The interview is actually a great read! Much like the Verizon commercial, Cécred, the music from the trilogy, the RENI tour film- there's a much greater sense of authenticity & personality that is extremely evident, rather than personal last minute touches.

It's a deep, but very light look into the mind of her current headspace- delusion and all. Her stubborn, self sabotaging is explained, but, greatly, not understood. Needing the personal escape from the preliminary activities of being an artist is understandable, but using this idea to rationalize doing absolutely nothing, is lazy.

Having a marketing beast as a father and a team that pulled of "BEYONCÉ" AND "LEMONADE", let alone the multi-million dollar Pepsi deal to fund a year old show for a 2 year album, there's a laundry list of thoughtless promotion that could take place from her personal iPhone. It's nearly insulting to the fans to elaborate on the 'hard work' she's put into the trilogy, when the only time she truly engages with her core fan base is to sell a product of some sort.

It's no longer insane, but utterly embarrassing to drag any visual into 2026-27, because she's going to want Act III to 'breathe' as well. It won't have the same effect as paying the rumors and leaked video shoots in 2013 dust, because the visuals, at least for RENI, have been announced, confirmed, teased, trolled every so often, to the point, there's been full concepts gaining traction.

I've stated that her not revealing anything pertaining to any visuals for "COWBOY CARTER", besides the announcement teaser, is an effort to detach herself from anymore disappointment, because nothing is concrete. Despite those efforts, we know for a fact that  visuals were filmed for "BEYINCÉ", so to completely ignore the existence of both album's visuals is alarming. She has been filming for the trilogy since 2021, whose knows how many versions or how many whatever's she has, but the acting coy, so inspired by the music is late and tired. For the most part, ppl only care about RENI visuals anyway.

By the last few words of the interview, I couldn't help but feels that it won't be long until the music no longer feeds her. She's talks about it as if she's still a hungry artist, but in reality, it feels like it's more so a personal luxury and alter ego outlet to release her imagination. Recording so much music and deciding years later to utilize it as a trilogy, but drag her feet to shoot visuals and tour, at the last minute is exhibit A & B. I see her retiring or taking a long needed break from the industry to fulfill the need to be present in the memories she's creating.

Though I am glad she's taking the necessary steps to create a healthy mental lifestyle, I hope when these other worldly visuals are released, the thought 'of the music being enough and' and the time frame doesn't come back to scorn worse than "BLACK IS KING", because it's already panning out being dragged through a decade.
