I really am steadfast in my stance that our girl would jump at the chance to pre-record a performance. So if it all it was gonna happen, I feel it'd be something done on home soil and edited to perfection.

 

I don't doubt for a second that she would smash in person (e.g.RWT), but (slightly controversial) I can't shake the feeling that there may be a little (just a little) trepidation around performing in a live televised capacity. At this point, one could argue that the expectations around "Beyonce" may even slightly intimidate…Beyonce lol. Total conjecture, but she's been pretty vocal about trying to free herself from perfectionism (but not as vocal about the difficulty of that process given the enormity of the of expectation people have of a "Beyonce performance"). 

 

She literally hasn't performed live on TV (in the conventional sense) since Coachella. and I'm not sure I totally buy that it's just in the name of her being extra.

Its Sir, all the evidence is there - barely no mention and pics of him, My Rose which is dedicated to Sir (the premise being that she hopes he one day will appreciate/accept himself despite all the flaws), even in the RWT Film Rumi got way more screentime. Its quite evident shes shielding him and made that her priority for as long as she can

I mean, she could still be a part of it. Just not for the LA thing. Gaga and Celine were part of the opening ceremony and Gaga's performance was prerecorded. 

 

It just seems to good to be true and in any case she probably wouldn't be performing any of her songs, which makes me a bit indifferent about the possibility.
