I really like it tbh. To me, LJ takes a moment to get going, but after Posty joins the chorus, it really picks up pace (+right after we have Beys rapsinging verse which is the highlight of the song)

it's just so oddly milquetoast to me and I do not like Post's voice at all, so in general as a whole song I just can't get into it. A meme made me enjoy IIMW a little more, but ultimately Miley's voice is another that doesn't work for me so it's still a boot overall

 

when I'm not semi-joking around, I can admit their talents, but some tones just do not hit my ear well. It's the same reason I can't get into Tori Kelly despite knowing she can sing. 
 

Kacey isn't as technically gifted, but her vocals work for me in their own way even when she's doing a cover (as an example, gracias a la vida is in my top 3 on star-crossed)

II Hands II Heaven is SOTY tbh. While I miss seeing Beyoncé performing her music at every show going, it's exciting how much she clearly loves creating music and challenging herself in the studio.

I can't believe they greenlit the Beyincé cover, it could have served as a magazine cover with all that wasted space. I kind of don't even want it on my wall.

I took a break from CC this weekend, im back on it, and still love it. I really love how a new song hits every time I press play. It shows the album is true QUALITY. She really did her thing, tho I am now able to confidently say that Virgos Groove is still a career highlight that wasn't matched on CC

Tbh I think most of us realized this was the reality moving forward. It's certainly not going to get better the older she gets  

spent 5 years working on this, spent millions, flew artists all over the country for recording sessions… just to let the album die an uneventful death

I totally understand her motives - she knows shed be bombarded with family-related questions and dissected by keyboard warriors for every single pause she makes for thinking. I respect her choice to protect her own sanity and the well-being of her kids.

 

I just wished she requested an interview with someone she trusts and perceives as good and making sure the interview focusses on the music. There's so many things that are a myth to us and hearing her perspective would be amazing. Plus lets be real, we ADORE her vision and drive. Its part of her greatest appeal. So I just hope she eventually does that. It would be great!
