Bey wouldnt go plat for nothing, she filmed something important and obvi wants this hair as a marker for something. Plat is not an easy achievement with Beys hair, even with the best stylists, I fear we are just waiting.... but its coming.

Did you see Whoopi on the view? Saying Bey has 32, she doesn’t need AOTY, that’s what a lot of voters think imo. Whoopi is most likely a voter there.

Yes, she filmed something because Shiona posted a picture from an elevator saying she survived a 24h shift and Andrew just posted a picture from the same elevator yesterday. But summer 2024 is also “soon” in Bey’s time.  Don’t know why we are suddenly expecting act ii to come out next month when she started teasing act i almost two months before release. 

thankfully they had the common sense to delete, but someone on Reddit was trying to say Bey’s latest Grammy look was inspired by Madonna’s Music era 

 

like obviously she admires M, but to think that the woman who is loudly and proudly from Houston, Texas needed to reference the Faz Gostoso chanteuse to wear a cowboy hat is so funny to me

A few people I’ve talked to over the years kinda think along these lines. A woman at work said Bey wins a ton of other things, so who cares about her losing this one. 
 

There’s definitely a certain nuance that people are missing, or maybe they just don’t care when it comes to Bey.

I've already seen people say she's copying Gaga. 

 

A lot of people don't associate Bey with her Texas roots because of the glamour and her living in LA, married to Jay, etc

Who really knows, but if she follows the ACT I pattern we got BMS more than a month ahead of the album. It doesn't feel far off to me.

When history looks back on it, I think Lemonade's loss is probably the start of the devaluation of the prestige of AOTY anyway.

 

ST's loss stung, but Beck is considered a musical genius so I think they could've gotten away with that. Ever since Lemonade lost, though, it feels like AOTY and the Grammys in general have meant less and less.

I completely agree. For some reason i feel we won't see jay and bet at the grammys for a very long time. I feel jay said what he said knowing his family had no intention of going back for a minute and i am completely in support of it.

Idk, if i recall correctly he also mentioned that you have to keep doing the work and showing up. I think  we’ll still see them for as long as they are nominated or being honored.

If I had it my way, Bey would be a regular attendee at the Soul Train Awards, she would be uplifted and embraced so much there. Not to mention being surrounding by true talent. 

I lowkey want to here her sing Alicia's and Rihanna's parts in Empire State and Run The Town (but in a way that like no one else can hear and compare cause I just don't want to deal)

She used to do 2-2.5 years between albums, now it’s closer to 3 with Lem/The Gift/Rennie… next album confirmed for summer 2025. 
 

The earliest realistically would be Fall 2024. But she loves touring in the summer so maybe Spring 2025.
