I'm still waiting the visuals for Act I   

 

I just hope Jay-Z's speech didn't hurt more Bey's chances. Some people in the audience didn't take very well the part where he said "some of you don't belong in some categories"

The amount of artists on stage calling out the committee. I’m sawry, I’m kind of tired of this humiliation ritual Bey goes through every time she attends. It’s time to let that ceremony die and have her charge meet & greet packages like these people are playing in her face voting behind the scenes.

They will be petty and offer the next AOTY to another Black woman who is not Bey.  The voters have a deep dislike of Bey in general and in recent years for Jay too because he spoke up a lot, it's not his first time saying this, when he was honored at the Clive Davis thing, he said a similar speech, he spoke then about all the minorities and not just one case like Bey's. I think Jay just could not sit back and watch it happen without saying anything. It's like us being frustrated but he can actually say something unlike us because he is inside that industry too. It will be awkward when she is nominated again though.

the institution is racist. you can't dismantle the master's house with the master's tools. no matter how many Grammys Beyoncé or any Black woman wins or gets nominated for, they will be pigeonholed into the "Black" categories. no speech on the Grammy stage will change that, either.

 

Jay Z didn't say anything we didn't know, but I ain't mad at him. he spoke truth and did it respectfully and playfully. it wasn't cringey or rude.

 

anyways YALL. I'm excited for Act II - Rodeo

Bey aint winning any Grammys any more, let it go (just like the visuals for Rennie).

 

If anything, brace yourselves mentally for Beys most underperforming project in case Act2 is truly serving Country/Rock, cause God knows it wont sell on its own without any promo. This is not like Bey releasing dance music that will work regardless. A country project would require immense promo to succeed, which granted wont happen with Bey.

I wouldn’t mind a rapyonce moment sprinkled into Act 2. Honestly Act 2 should just be a love letter to Texas all together give me country, rock, and hip hop

At this point, we don’t need the visuals two years later. I’m ready to move on. Hopefully we don’t have to wait another year for act 11.

 

Also, I saw someone on TikTok say Beyonce is the Leo DiCaprio of the Grammys and I don’t see any lies.
