oh the euphoria and adrenaline were pumping all throughout ITG/Cozy/AS and Cuff It was definitely instantly catchy but also more tame and "predictable" next to them

she does absolutely excel at this type of sound like no one else but VG and Blow just scratch that itch so much more for me

The roar of the crowd, I miss it.

Get those Brazil dates and come back for leg 2 hag. :jonny4:

Hot take but 4 is her weakest visual era (if we exclude Ren which has NONE)

The album is top3 for me but outside of Dance For You which is great none of the videos really give me anything. Party is cute I guess but not very memorable, it could've been executed better.

This era is also when she started messing with yellow hair and I were still dealing with that to this day, so I kinda associate it with the album nnn. It's rarely looked like really good on her, besides some looks during the ST era, but generally honey brown tones look SO much better on her.

The RTW music video ate tho. I’d place it in her top 5. (Formation and Mine being at the top)

The rest of 4’s videos were pretty simple though.

I've never liked the video to be honest. Maybe I'm biased because I also find the song quite irritating but to me it's just bad look after bad look after bad look. I never go back to it. :emofish:

I do like the performances though.

1. She Cant Love You (DC)

Easily one of her/their most overlooked songs! It's sooooo good the verses are soooo sassy too. I love it so much.

Run The World as a song has aged so well. In 2011 I don’t think anyone would have guessed it would become one of her staples.

In terms of music videos, these are her best imo.

1. Haunted

2. Formation

3. Single Ladies

4. Run The World

5. Countdown

6. Crazy In Love

7. Why Don't You Love Me

The rest are pretty hard because Pretty Hurts, Mine, Hold Up, Naughty Girl, Irreplaceable, Beautiful Liar, Partition are pretty good videos too.

  3. Dangerously In Love
  4. Mine (feat. Drake)
  5. Bills Bills Bills
  6. Smash Into You
  7. Deja Vu (feat. Jay Z)
  8. Lose My Breath
  9. Haunted
  10. Jealous

#11 being Spirit :skull:

The Beyhydration (2011-2013) seems so ridiculous in hindsight. :rip:  I think we’d be glad for a 2 year gap between albums now.

Imagine we had to deal with a whole month of “discourse” over that bs and now it’s crickets from the same crowd

See it was never about Palestine, it was always about humbling Beyoncé.

YOU'RE THE AIR THAT I BREATHE TO SURVIVE

Forgot a "v" in Survive.

I don’t even know if people still think that the 3 acts are 3 albums but I don’t think they are anymore. Bey said she recorded them through the pandemic. But I just can’t believe that she would release 2 more albums of material she recorded years ago. Knowing her she’d be over that old material by now. If they really are albums then I imagine they’ve drastically changed since she first announced them.

Beyhydration is starting. I’m starting to forget what she looks like. I kinda miss when she’d drop a new Ivy park every other month and model all the clothing via spamming her instagram with all the looks and fierce strutting.

many artists write/record a ton of tracks years prior to their album release.

all they do is select what tracks are strong enough to formulate a concept, tweak the lyrics and have a great producer to make the material sound current frfr.

let's remember that THIQUE is a self-titled beat...

I am highly doubtful she would have announced the "three acts" angle and branded RENAISSANCE as "act I" everywhere without having turned in her remaining projects. there's also the whole "What is a B7?"/"B8" stunt she pulled before announcing RENAISSANCE. plus that British Vogue interview saying she had "an abundance of new music."

I am confident that at the very least act II will be an album, and I'd be willing to bet it's ready to go. I wouldn't be surprised if rollout began in the first half of next year.

act III is a little more uncertain for me, I can see it being the film. (as I mentioned millions of times)
