Re-watching some of the movie footage I took and noticed during Diva the reflector suit got a lot of airtime.

 

And some of y’all were dragging it all those months ago.

after watching the film the setlist makes a lot more sense + Beychella visual being the hits i can see future tours/recordings having more deep cuts.

I am thankful Beyoncé does not make art pandering to moderate fans and (mostly racist) middle america. 

 

who cares if Lemonade is getting 100k or 400k streams a day, it's the best-selling album of 2016 and one of the most acclaimed albums of all-time. "Formation" still has the girls shaking.

 

would rather get meaningful and multi-dimensional artistry.

She did not disappoint with this film. A career highlight for sure. 
I was low key hesitant to even see it in theaters because I was never a huge fan of her docs and how repetitive and calculated they can be, but she was so much more personable on this. Super inspiring.

Lemonade still would’ve been meaningful and multidimensional without the black panther reference

Now I’m going to say something that will get me jumped but I don’t care: My House is absolutely HORRID. Might just be her worst song ever, definitely worst single. Between that and DELRESTO (another song Hive mass-acclaimed first week then it was complete crickets after) I am desperately hoping that sound is just Renaissance outtakes and not the direction she is heading in…

Did she head in the direction of 7/11 after ST or did she release Lemonade? 

 

They're just throwaway side tracks she does every era. It doesn't mean anything for the future.

Black Parade was a pretty bad song to me. Be Alive was hyped by the usual brain dead fan pages, dropped, flopped and sucks horribly.

 

Then RENAISSANCE dropped and was instantly one of my favorite albums from her. Not a single clunker.

 

These last couple years I haven't cared for a lot of her not album related music so I wasn't expecting much.

My House is a statement, not more, not less. Understand it as such, and keep it moving. Its not that deep.

 

Lets talk about Act2 potentially being called Revolution. Now THATS a title in this day and age
