So why can't katy perry, david and maroon 5 all go on a tour as big as RWT? When will you actually get that if your spoitfy numbers don't translate to real dollars, its useless to the artist/ Do you think katy wanted to be stuck in VEGAS doing toilet bowl shows? Taylor, the weeknd are the few whose streaming numbers match their ability to get people to come hear the music live.

 

 

Beyonce could have 10m listners, and she will announce another stadium tour that will outgross RWT. if you don't get that at this point...i genuinely don't why exactly you stan her.

No..its a matter, how many more times do you to shed the same tear? When the "catastrophic" streams start impacting her ability to sell SHOWS that actually bring in REAL MONEY, then it would matter.

Great touring numbers => GP thinks you are a great performer and/or must-see

 

Great streaming numbers => GP adores your music/feels nostalgic towards your music/knows of your music

 

Its honestly not that hard to grasp.

When you are able to attract millions and millions of people to your shows, however these insane numbers do not impact your music consumption stats, then what do you do with that Info?

It literally means sth is going wrong. Simple as that.

 

And before people come with the "shes already a legend"-excuse - other legends are not capable to have #1s on the charts anymore. The fact that Bey is still capable to achieve such heights means theres genuine interest in her, however she absolutely mismanages her output and is simply not capable of maintaining longevity

yet millions and millions of people are listening to her music daily... 10M+ daily streams on Spotify alone to be exact.

Actually I think compared to her peers, her album tracks perform very well imo. I remember bringing up Lemonade saying that I am proud of its homogeneous streams and some laughed but I stick by that statement. It's her post-4 singles that generally perform awfully and that's because they're not always the right picks and are not pushed. And that's why her overall streams appear lackluster. If she had more singles pulling 1M, she would fare much better.

Thankfully, she's an album's artist in the sense that her albums' tracks do better and help carry because it could also be much worse considering how she picks and treats her singles.

 

Ren's album tracks performed better than Adele's 30's, Chromatica's, on par with Ariana's Positions's and a little worse than Lover's before Folklore.

True. The only album tracks from her last three albums not hitting 50M are No Angel and Forward. And one of those makes sense.

 

Every Renaissance track will hit 100M by its 3rd - 4th anniversary, and it could’ve happened earlier if it wasn’t for AUIYM. That’s on par with Folklore and Evermore.

Yes and tbh Forward doesn't count, it's an interlude so people skip it

On most albums, interlude's streams are in the gutter. People don't consider them "real songs".
