I thought I was the only one not hearing the sample so much. It's well incorporated. I think it was important for her to give credit to the black artists that inspired her. Whether the remix guy added the most interesting part or not.

RIGHT.  Because I honestly didn't care, but I was listening last night and I was like I can't pen the melody that she lifted... and it's cause she actually didn't even sample it!  This is the result of the Robin Thicke Lawsuit.  Crazy

There will probably be a lot of samples like that on the album. She's already got more money than god so if she has to share the credits with people to avoid a distracting scandal she will.

I listened to BMS and Show Me Love back to back yesterday and after a minute I could barely discern the sample. It sounds like that kind of song, it doesn't just sound like that song specifically. It's actually pretty authentically 90s, Miss The Dream snapped huh

She actually did.  This sounds completely authentic to 1992.  Nothing more, nothing less. She understood the assignment.

Create a playlist and make sure you have 2-3 songs in between. Add the same group a few times and the streams will be counted.

I know what you mean (though I didn't listen back-to-back)... at first I could only hear the sample but now I don't hear it and I mostly hear/notice the vocals. the way that she took one of the most known samples and made it her own >>>
