Renaissance is really one of her most colorful albums vocally (if not the most) and the RANGE of singing styles she exhibits on that record… like the stacked harmonies on each song alone put entire discographies to shame

truly a masterclass :clap3:

Ikr? The harmonies are unreal, the Cuff It acapella for example is extraordinary. I'm sure there are still layers to that album I haven't really heard yet even after all this time.

ACT III will be another Jay collab album and the tour will be OTR III, her final tour, ending it all with the love of her life by her side :deadbanana2:

I remember having this argument back in like 2016 when I was in college with some people after I told them I attended the Formation tour. Those hoes were so confident and cocky with their claims and mocking me saying 'you're delusional, even if we brought 100 people in front of you to tell you Adele is a better singer you still wouldn't believe it'  tf :skull: so I made them google it themselves. They were so shocked that each and every site and ranking they went on put Beyonce above Adele :ahh:

The reality is a lot of people equate being fat, standing still and singing ballads to being a more talented vocalist :deadbanana:

unfortunately a lot of GP might as well be deaf when it comes to technical musical analysis. :dancehall3: they think a piano ballad with voice cracks is the apex of vocal ability.

coming through with the taste! Adele could not sing a third of "Boomerang" and that's that on that.

Personally, I think it’s Sorry

If anything it's Daddy Lessons.

Let's be real here.

Sorry is literally top three on Limonchella.

I wake up and people are personally attacking Sorry?

What gives, exactly?

This is why.

All Night is my most played Beyoncé song. Since RENAISSANCE though COZY has been coming for its neck.

Find Your Way Back is #2 now. We'll never see that one live :toofunny2:

It was included in an interlude but then it got removed after night 1.

honestly, the vocal break in the second verse always seemed very  “forced authenticity” and completely takes me out of the song :clown:

To think that Sandcastles was the most hated song in the base in 2016/2017.

I recently read someone describe her voice as being rich in flavour, and that really sums it up for me.

She is the combination of having a strong natural aptitude for singing, along with maintaining excellent technique throughout her career (thus preserving her voice very well) and borrowing from a wealth of influence of different styles and experience throughout her career. She's always pushed herself vocally and done something different with each album, which can't be said for every singer. You can hear the influence from R&B, gospel, funk, hip hop, pop, rock etc. in her vocal performances and her practice using different scales (Arabic for example). That's why I think her vocal on Renaissance is so strong because there's so much character in her voice.

One of the most beautiful posts I have ever read :heart2:

What song do you think aged the worst on the LEMONADE album?

Personally, I think it’s Sorry…..that song is a hit or miss these days for me. The sound is just grating to me:gaycat7:

It's interesting how any of us has a different take about it.

Personally speaking, I left both Sorry and Hold Up in 2016.

According to the early setlist from Renaissance tour book, she included Irreplaceable and another song along with Bittersweet Symphony, I presume If I Were A Boy. So, she considered a lot of songs, they just didn’t work out. Which is fine. Maybe she’ll use them next time

Yup, she also rehearsed Listen.

All of them may return if Act II turns out to be Country/Rock.
