I know it’s tempting to be near her for most of it but go for CR.  It’s more comfortable and you get to take everything deep in at once. And when she’s near you she’s near you. You don’t want to be looking down the runway at the back of her for the Heated rap, you want to be screaming it in her face.

although a Houston DVD is needed in her videography...i had been confused about why she's chosen the Renaissance tour to finally film a concert there. i dont really see that city as giving the Renaissance vibe and if Act 2 is believed to be country...it seems like it would make sense to film that accompanying tour there. but then i thought about the Uncle Johnny connection and it makes sense why she chose a place that connects them both.

Not to bring up that other lady in this base but to people who have watched both tours who has the more difficult show? I’m avoiding spoilers so I haven’t seen much of Bey but I watched that woman’s 3 hour show and it seemed exhausting. The amount of full songs she sings and she keeps adding tour dates. I don’t know how they do it. I’d be miserable doing the same routine that many times in a row.

She gave the most at the NYC shows. The vocals the dancing her mentioning the album anniversary the LOOKS

wait how do we know she's only filming Houston? it feels like she's filming everything so far.

 

best shows so far have been New York, I agree. Louisville was really good, too.

I say BeyHive, the people in that area tend to be old and not care so much so it's easy to move them to the side (At least this is how it was in london) 

Plus when she goes to CR you get a great view of the full stadium and the amount of people actually there

It was more that they thought the song had just come out.

Break My Soul is just SO good and so powerful. I get kinda emotional when it plays now, I trust what she's saying. It also shows Bey's growth as an artist. She didn't choose none of the most obvious outstanding tracks on the album for the lead, she went with a good song period and let it speak for itself. That feels graceful, smart and mature, and I love that for her.

It's such a statement. I love that she went universal-motivational with a lead. Nothing to do with "my man/love" or "female empowerment" (both her understandable mainstays). 

 

It all at once manages to mean so much lyrically (maybe her most meaningful track to date, lyrically speaking) while being wrapped in the most uptempo, club-geared production she's ever had.

 

The girls generally don't give it its due because of how brilliant the material and album that followed are, but BMS has never left my top 5 from the album and is (IMO) up there with her best tracks to date.

THIS, it really is such an amazing song (even tho i can’t listen to it without the ass wiggle / titty bounce / vogue mashup / MJ sample / dramatic outro

playing in my mind and i get mad that it’ll never be on spotify)

Idk why but I’m still hoping for a dark-alternative R&B era from Bey. She def has the power to turn experimental and unique sounds into the mainstream.

THS omg, i always wanted an uber cohesive experimental album from her and she delivered just that with Ren for me but i’d LOVE a Ren but darker, every song being a 6 Inch / Haunted / Thique / I’m That Girl / Never Gonna Love Again type of song 

 

no one does dark-alternative like she does, that’s why i’m PISSED Boots is an asshat and she’ll probably won’t work with him again 

 

an entire album produced by him and i would never complain about anything ever again

She deserves to be EXCLUDED for her shenanigans when Formation was the easiest missed #1 after years of “no #1s since the Bush era”. Free single, no iTunes, unlisted video which she only decided to unlist in hopes of an AOTY (LMAO). The most poorly treated single and now we’re experiencing the most poorly treated album 6 years later.
