to answer your question, @AxelFox, I think she just wasn't about to give GRAMMYs an exclusive first performance like that just to be shafted again for the big award. I've also heard rumors that she was going to perform if she won, but they had the DJ Khaled performance recorded on tape ready to go in case she lost.

POTS yes, I think her in the clam fits perfectly and is a great moment. VG is too groovy for that though, she needed to come out from it and at least pose for the gods and do a few body rolls for the 2nd part.

That's all it was meant to be. Beyoncé is versatile enough to be able to circumvent the issues that she was dealing with and still pull out a good performance. She has a wide array of songs to choose from. No one said it had to be high-energy.

 

Of course it doesn't matter as much now because the event has come and gone, but I'm positive the decision was nothing but pure tactic to have all songs performed for the first time on tour.

I'm not upset about it, but AxelFox isn't totally incorrect. 

Foot/knee injuries are known to be very painful, so I don't blame her for not performing back then. 

 

If anything, I'm glad to see her smile more now even though she's touring.

Why do people who havent attended the show complain so much? I have a friend who is a stan and went to several of her shows and he said the show was his favorite....so why the complaints in here?

I attended both the opening night and the Brussels show. Some performances were a gag, others I felt needed more thought. 

 

What about it? 

There is discourse on TikTok from some concert goers about some of the hits not being there. I’ll never be convinced that flaws, lift off, I care, etc is needed over other songs. And the whole Renaissance album should be performed too.

And that is fair tbh. I totally understand that songs like Cuff it for instance could definitely use more choreo and a better realization, but one has to acknowledge that we get an almost full on 3 hour live show. 

Flaws and all, as much as it is not a hit,.obviously serves as a means to humanize Bey and showcase her vulnerability.
