  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I think the distinction we often forget when it comes to Lemonade is that an album can be GREAT and at the same time not have the replay value of a Dua Lipa record or B'Day etc.

Lemonade is definitely elevated by its accompanying film, but it's not musically too far behind RENAISSANCE imo. it's simply moodier, has slower songs, shuffles through more genres, so it's a bit more jarring. Add to that several years I went without returning to it as much because it wasn't on streaming and easily accessible. So while I get 2016 flashbacks, I haven't lived with the album as much as I have with others. Those factors cloud our judgment a bit.

"All Night" has been my go to song from Lemonade lately.

I feel some do too much on Lemonade. Yeah, it has duds like Sorry on it, but then you have masterpieces such as PYCM, Love Drought, DHY, Formation, Freedom.. Then you have cute tracks such as Hold Up, 6Inch, Daddy Lessons, All Night… I mean, it’s still a wonderful album all things considered.

Maybe it’s just abit slow and depressing for me to repeat it all that much; like I love LANA, but I can’t listen to her much these days cuz I prefer fun music to help get through my stressful life.

Daddy Lessons, All Night, freedom and formation are all career highlights though. If one of the new act/album is anything like DADDY LESSONS, bring it on Country queen; I prefer the dixie chick’s version better probably cuz it sounds like a pure live experience.

Anyone else excited for night of 1000 Beyoncé’s on Drag Race tonight? I’ve been waiting for this forever, and they’ll probably do a lip sync song of hers too :duca:

I heard rumors which song itll be...

Spoiler

Single Ladies :rip:

People dissing Sorry. :deadbanana2:

And yall had the nerve to get on me for dragging 4?

Sorry is one of her literal best, couldve been a long running #1 on R&B radio if she did it right.

Like…prove me doing. Whenever I come across this video, I can’t not watch the entire thing.

John Legend always send me lol, he was so into it.

Also, as a lifelong fan when Bey runs out of breath she always sounds so good holding onto the note till she finishes, what an amazing vocalist.

The problem with Lemonade is just the lack of hits. It's a great album, but it doesn't have the hits to stream as well as her other albums do. Lack of hits is why her catalogue in the last decade doesn't stream as well as it should and I hate seeing TikTok videos of people dancing to Beyoncé songs just for the comments to have no idea what song it is :rip:

I understand Beyoncé's whole album method, but I'm glad RENAISSANCE had hits. But even then, they could still do a better job at pushing them.

At this point I'm just waiting for the tour to kick-off, I'm desperate for my date :jonnycat:

miss cuff HIT getting her things.... mother must be mad

Sorry aged like milk

It's stuck in 2016 as it should be

Renaissance is by far her best album to me. Selftitled and Lemonade are my other faves after Renaissance. 4 is also great.

AHAP just charted on the official Ireland chart at 89. It’s coming :WAP:

Cuff Hit is still 15 on the chart!

Ya RENAISSANCE came in and snatched that "best album" title for the pure sake of checking every single box (music, message, meaning, production, vocals, lyrics) but Lemonade will always be her magnum opus. It (plus the film) is just a stunning piece of conceptual work from the story to the reasons for the samples, etc.

The last minute of Sorry is still a highlight on the album. It will never get old.

As for the rest of the song... it's good still but it got old a bit.

Lemonade requires a certain mindset for me to sit down and listen in full. That’s actually a good thing for immersion, im just not often in that mood so it’s not something I go back to regularly even though I love it :michael:

I don't know if anyone else feels this way but

WETTER REMIX >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ORIGINAL

I never really used the original. I enjoyed it when it was on (and usually listen to the album in full, so have heard it a lot) but don't think I ever went to play it on its own except for when it was first taking off and I wanted to double check on what people were talking about/loving. But I go straight to the remix frequently.

I'm glad the original is beloved... but the remix is just so hot, the vocals are better, the vibe is stronger... the added lyrics, everything ...

Does anyone else think she’s going to perform some music from Act 2 & Act 3 during the tour? I said this before, but The Renaissance World Tour is giving me MCSWT vibes. I won’t be surprised if she performs some new music before it’s released.

I would love if Beyoncé did a limited theatre run of Lemonade on it's 10 year anniversary...and omg that is CRAZY to think that its TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY is just 3 years away...

it would be a pretty brilliant marketing technique to drive buzz for upcoming (lead) singles.

she wouldn't have to go anywhere, ... it matches her "low lift" promo... it's doing something big and yet something that's in her own house, so to speak... she'd have a captive, engaged audience so the energy would be AMAZING for her to perform in, and for sure that video would travel far on the internet.... Dubai alone for a run... let alone a new song that no one can listen to yet...

I remember getting so much from the Standing on the Sun special performances.

Lemonade is her best album, it’s flawless (even with Sorry in it) and some of you will sing a different tune when it starts pulling 2M daily.

girl let her pass 600k daily first then we’ll see about the rest :deadbanana4:

I hope they turn it out on the runway! Did you see Aura's look in her Watcha Packing video with Michelle Visage?

I loved the original and it's been in my top5 since release but the remix is just a lot more up my alley. And the vocals are a lot better yea, it really takes the remix to the next level
